This is my first plugin on BukkitDev :D

Description and Features

This is a simple tags plugin. What it does? It gives your players a tab-list tag and a chat tag. You can choose between three options to design a style for a tag (and you can combine them in multiple ways!): a color, bold style and italic style.

Colors

The available colors are: AQUA; BLACK; BLUE; DARK_AQUA; DARK_BLUE; DARK_GRAY; DARK_GREEN; DARK_PURPLE; DARK_RED; GOLD; GRAY; GREEN; LIGHT_PURPLE; RED; WHITE; and YELLOW.

Installation

Just put the downloaded file in your plugins folder. I recommend to just use the commands to set-up/manage your tags.

Commands

/tag [tagName] - changes your tag, if enabled.

/taglist - shows all available tags.

/tagconfig - configure/set-up your tags. It has four variants:

/tagconfig add [tagName] [tagColor] [bold] [italic] - adds a tag; bold and italic are optional booleans.

/tagconfig del [tagName] - delete the specified tag.

/tagconfig default [tagName] - sets the [tagName] as the default tag for the players which doesn't have a specific tag.

/tagconfig god [tagName] - sets the [tagName] as the tag for the players which have the '*' permission.

Permissions

me.pingu.tagconfig - allows a player to manage the tags.

me.pingu.taglist - allows a player to list the available tags.

me.pingu.tagchanging - if the option 'enableTagChanging' is set to 'true' it allows the player to change its tag

me.pingu.tag.[tagName] - the permission used to set a player's/group's tag.

A player can only have one tag, or the system will be confused and will set the wrong tag for the players. If you want to remove a tag from someone who has a lot of permissions and/or all tags permissions, just add a - (a trace) right before the permission. Example: - -me.pingu.tag.vip (this player won't have the 'vip' tag). Check your permissions plugin's page.

Important!

• Due to Minecraft client-side limitations, bold and/or italic tabList names can be cut to match the 16 characters limit. I can't do anything about this, it's a Minecraft limitation.//
• NEVER change the 'firstrun' config value or you can lose your tags :)
