I have an idea, why don't you add the function to be able to allow joining and hearing certain channels but only limited people may speak in that channel. Maybe you can add a permission node like channelchat.<channelname>.speak, that would be great!. Sorta like a global announcements but only few people can make those announcements. Thanks!
