What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. run minecraft 1.7.10
2. install Essentials_Dev_Build_2.14.89
3. install EssentialsChat_Dev_Build_2.14.89
4. set up group formatting

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
to have your group displayed before your name with set color format for group, name and text

Do you have an error log of what happened?
no

Also noticed last night first time players don't have all their perms, and it don't print in room they are first time logging into my server. I reset their group via in game command. it gives them most of them. Is this new issue still my same issue with UUID not working with Essentials.

I'm not sure I understand what you're running into with the comment there, could you elaborate a little? Sorry for the long wait time.

I had the same problem.....group formatting in chat not working, and commands like /list and /who thought everyone was in group default, i.e. was not finding the player's uuid in config.yml. Version 2.4 resolved it for me. Thanks
