Posted Mar 2, 2015okay so im now getting a little stressed with this plugin as i do like the idear of it and have got my course set up and this let me click the starting block...... just i get the same message of you have not progressed enough to do this course ? ? is there a reason for this ?

Posted Dec 6, 2014I really need help. I make a course and everything works fine. I do /pp toggle to activate and it says course activated. Then I do /pp save and it doesnt do anything. I do it again and it says I'm not editing any courses. I just th ink whatever and I go to press the block that I created my parkour on. Nothing happens. This happens every time and I think the cause is the /pp save

you guys really need to work on a better tutorial =/
the video or documentation doesnt tell me how to make it so players can actually start playing a course. in the video, it has gold blocks next to the sign, and he right clicks the gold blocks. so i duplicated the same thing and clicking the gold block next to the sign doesnt do anything. players are not teleported to the start of the course.
i have set up my course. the sign reads properly, the @ symbols filled in correctly. i added checkpoints, set the start and end, and saved course and said done editing. the only problem is, no one knows how to actually start the course.
edit: ok here is a video: http://youtu.be/gdBjzVwTtjQ (its uploading, will be ready in like 4 hours) this shows me creating my course from start to finish, and i didnt record it, but one of my members right clicked EVERY block in the vicinity my parkour entrance and he could not find any block that would teleport him to the start after right clicking it. also tried left clicking so, which didnt work of course.
edit: suggestions: 1) make a /pp edit <name>.. i dont know any way of editing an existing course. so all i did was do /pp create <name> and used the name of what course i wanted to edit and just re-do it from scratch. you should make /pp edit <name> and allow me to edit just what i need. 2) make a folder containing courses such as: /plugins/parkourpalace/courses so i can delete the courses using ftp. and this also lets me know i successfully made a course. i dont know what i did differently but everytime i made the course and finished, using /pp save, it didnt say anything in my chat, but when i typed /pp save again, it said im not editing any courses. so im assuming it saved. in the video, it did properly give a save message in chat, which idk why that time was different but whatever.

You need to make sure in your config you set first run to false

If you get an error message about these please let me know what it is? in the mean time i do have an updated version that is uploaded and just waitting for approval from the bukkit dev staff so hopefully this new version might fix some of your errors. (To be honest i've slightly lost track of what the differences are between the two versions as it's had a lot of work done to it.)

Posted Oct 8, 2013Awesome plug-in, but very buggy! I don't know if it's because it's not updated to 1.6.4 or not, but please update it! Sometimes commands like /pp leave and /pp save don't work. Same goes with right clicking the block. Also, when you reload the server the course is lost. Please update, I plan on donating! :D

Posted Aug 26, 2013Hello! First off, thanks for making this plugin, it's pretty unique and I can't wait to use it. However, I'm having trouble activating a course. The admin has given me all the permissions, and I can use all commands as I need, but whenever I try to use /pp save, the admin gets a bunch of errors and the plugin essentially breaks for me until I log off and back on again. Even when he tried it, he couldn't toggle the course.

I had my server prov install this. However, it caused a problem. Seems it tried to create a config file with same name as another plug-in/ The other prog is call Parcour 2.1. One of you is going to have to change your cfg file name lol.

Thnx, no i had the sign as the start block. Second time i set it up i made it a goldblock. And that doesn't seem to work, i run it, i end it. Spawn back in the lobby. But i can not run it again.

the sign should never have worked to start it, you right click the start block to start it not the sign, i haven't finished making the edit feature entirely yet though you can edit everything from config, and the version i'll be uploading this evening has a stop command in it.
as for your only running it once? I just have to assume it's cause you weren't using the start block as per the instructions?

I need some help, i made a parkour. First time it worked fine, second time it did not.... then after the 10lives it dropped me at the start instead of the lobby... then i kept tping me back even when i did not even touch bad blocks.
Now the sign doesn't even start the game anymore

note the video is for versions 1.01 and above

Posted Jul 17, 2013After a full day of coding / testing all bugs that i was aware of have been completely taken out of the system, v1.0 has been uploaded (yes i know the beta version hasn't been approved yet but don't blame me for that!) I recommend waitting till v1.0 is released before downloading as it is a major rewrite to the file system and would just be annoying having to make players re-do things with the update. I plan on doing a course set up video sometime tonight and uploading it on youtube, once that's done i'll post it here. In the mean time you can try out the parkour at play.versuscraft.com if you want to get a feel for how the courses work!
