Other Information
Auto-updater
This plugin has a built-in auto-updater, which connects to BukkitDev to check for updates. If you wish to disable this process, you can do so by setting 'Other.UpdateCheck' to false in the config.yml file.
(Based on your error message)
This is due to an outdated version of Java on the server, the plugin is now compiled using jre 7 minimum as 6 is considered very out of date now. Please update your server to at least Java 7 and the plugin will work.
Version 4.0 and all the development builds give the same error.
Everytime a player moves or looks at a different position it gives the following error:

I run Spigot 1.8.8, but craftbukkit 1.8.8 gave the same error. I do have a plugin running that allows every version from 1.8.8 and up to join the server (ViaVersion).
you probably need to upgrade to at least 1.9.
This would solve the problem, but might not be possible in some cases.
The easiest way to fix it is to change "OnCourse.AllowTrails" to false in the config.yml. Once done, enter /pa reload and the problem should be fixed.
I will default this option to false in the release as I've had multiple people report this issue (using bukkit < 1.9).
It's finally here! (almost)
I have uploaded the Beta, here on Bukkit.
After almost a year of development, and almost cancelling the project a few times, I've finally released a new version to Bukkit in over a year!
I hope you enjoy the new update and the features it brings!
Please leave any feedback or suggestions in the comments section, or private message me on here or on Skype: iA5H73Y

New version throwing a ton of errors that appear every few seconds: https://hastebin.com/yiculeweda.vbs
My server is running in 1.10.2 but has a plugin that allows joining for every version after that.
Update: After downgrading back to build 31/12/16, it is still broken, saying an internal error has occurred upon joining a course. It worked fine before!!
If you could give the server a full restart that should help, looks like it's gotten into a pickle with remembering who is playing.
When I install the plugin to my 1.11.2 sevrer, the plugin doesnt load.
Reason?
Are you both using the latest v4.0 dev build?I don't have any issues on 1.11.2.
You're both going to have to be more specific, place the parkour.jar file in the plugins folder, start the server and see if there are any errors in the logs that mention Parkour; if there are then please private message me with the entire log and I will identify the problem.
Thank you.
I created a parkour map built around using pistons that are triggered by wooden pressure plates and noticed that when a player is in the 'parkour' mode the piston does not work. Is there a setting for this in the config file?
There sure is OnCourse.PreventPlateStick set to false to disable this in the config.yml
Hello!
how i need true start using MySQL?
i put in config needed info.
//but first i did create one course and have some stats on him
in my MySQL was created 3 empry tables:
course
time
vote
what i need do to my created course stats will add to mysql tables?
im found how:
1. put in config info to connect to mysql
2. in game make /pa recreate - that put info about created courses before connect mysql to mysql.
awesome plugin!
I'm glad you discovered how to resolve this, but this made me think of a more efficient means of detection, if I checked the amount of courses on the server compared with how many are in the database, there could be an inconsistency.
Thinking of a better way to prevent this in the future.
Please update to 1.11 Thanks!!!
that fine working in 1.11.2
i using on my server.
Parkour should work well with Bukkit 1.8 upwards (1.7 is not fully supported)
Is there a way to restrict access to courses using a permission node? I'm using group manager, and I only want certain groups to be able to join certain courses
