Auto-updater

This plugin has a built-in auto-updater, which connects to BukkitDev to check for updates. If you wish to disable this process, you can do so by setting 'Other.UpdateCheck' to false in the config.yml file.

Hi, thank you for your support.

This could be for several reasons, in the update 4.2 ParkourKits changed and reset themselves (fixed in 4.4). So if you are using the default ParkourKit, you can check what it's made up of by using "/pa listkit default". If the finish block is not there, or isn't set to what you want, you can enter "/pa editkit default" -> "add" -> "(material)" -> "finish"

Sadly, this hasn't fixed my problem. The block is there and I have tried changing it, but the course is still not finishable. The finish block just doesn't appear.

You have to place the finish block yourself, this is because of the way ParkourKits works now, as you could have multiple finish blocks or none at all.. it's completely configurable.

Sorry for the late reply.

This didn't fix it, however, I uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled it. After doing this, the plugin fixed itself, and all is well at the moment. Thank you for your assistance though. :)

Why i can't change anything at the setup. When I do that, I restart the server and the setups is default. Why?

The officially supported way to save the changes is to enter "/pa reload". Some 3rd party plugins break the way the plugin reloads.

THX. I have another problem, because I am Administation, but other players when they finish and they hit on sing. It's write you finished but they are not teleport to the lobby. Sorry for bad English :-)

Yes there is, using the Parkour leveling system.

The most simple way to achieve this is to use reward levels on courses, so for example we set the level reward for 'Level1' to "2", so we can join 'Level2':
"/pa rewardlevel level1 2"

Then to make it so you must be level 2 to join 'Level2' we enter:
"/pa setminlevel level2 2"

You can also use level increments for completing courses, so you gain one or more levels for completing a course. You can use a setting "/pa rewardonce (course)", that will only limit that course to give a prize out one time, which includes the level rewards.

Thx, really helpfull ^^ and one more thing I'm having problems when I transalate the Strings to Spanish, it says String not found when that message is supposed to pop up. There were some Strings without the simple quotation marks and tried to add them but didn't work neither... Now only works the default Strings. I'm not supposed to change the Strings file?

Yes you are able to change the Strings.yml file. Sometimes bukkit gets confused with what a String variable is when it comes from the config. To make it safer you should surround the text with quotation marks as you mentioned, then enter /pa reload

This is a real nice plugin but I have one question. When I change the config and I reload / restart the server all changes are away and the deafault is back!

Hey!

First of all, thank you so much for ur plugin, thank u from a french man ahah.

I have a suggestion that will be adding levels per parkour. Hmmm for example if the player doesn't finish the level 1, he can't do the level 2, but if he already finished the level 1 he can do level 2 and all previous level (level 1+ level 2). If he finished the level 30 he can do the level 31 and all previous level (level 1-30 + level 31). :) Have a good day!

Hey PhantHive, this is already possible with the latest version of Parkour. It shouldn't require too much setup.

Basically you need to set all the courses to reward once: "/pa rewardonce (course)"

Then set the reward level add to the name of the course i.e. "/pa rewardleveladd level1 1", "/pa rewardleveladd level2 2" etc.

Remember that you will need to set the minimum level requirement of each course to the name of the course too: "/pa setminlevel level31 31" etc
