Overscroll is a lightweight but unique plugin designed to bring an RPG-esque element to vanilla Minecraft. With this plugin, each player will receive a scroll above their head. The scroll (which looks like an extra nametag) will display the player's chat messages across it. Each message will move across the scroll at a predefined speed until it reaches the end.
Overscroll supports two hologram APIs:
By default, Overscroll will hook on to Holographic Displays if it is found in the plugin directory. If not, it will look for HoloAPI. If neither are found, then the plugin will not work!
All permissions are true by default and apply to all players
|overscroll.scroll||Creates a scroll for the player upon login (critical)|
|overscroll.chat||Displays the player's chat messages on their scroll|

Credit: The original credit for the idea goes to mbaxter and hawkfalcon as they are the original creators of Scroll, the plugin of which this was based off of. Overscroll is simply a continuation and 'beautifies' their plugin by using holograms rather than player names.
Metrics: This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true or by setting "metrics" in the plugin config to false.
