OpenInv
Open anyone's inventory or ender chest and modify it in real time! Works with offline players!
Description
This plugin allows you to open any player's inventory or ender chest and interact with it in real time. You can also do it for offline players! This includes access to the armor slots as well as being able to drop items as if you were the player by moving them into the unused slots to the bottom right. Additionally, you can open any chest that is blocked with blocks above it with AnyContainer and open containers silently (no sound or opening animation) with SilentContainer.
Features
- OpenInv: Open anyone's inventory, even if they're offline.
- Read-only mode! Don't grant edit permission.
- Cross-world support! Allow access only from the same world.
- No duplicate slots! Only armor is accessible when opening self (if allowed at all)!
- Drop items as the player! Place items in the dropper slot in the bottom right. Can be disabled via permission!
- Allow any item in armor slots! Configurable via permission.
- OpenEnder: Open anyone's ender chest, even if they're offline.
- Allow access only to own ender chest! Don't grant permission to open others.
- Read-only mode! Don't grant edit permission.
- Cross-world support! Allow access only from the same world.
- SilentContainer: Open containers without displaying an animation or making sound.
- AnyContainer: Open containers, even if blocked by ocelots or blocks.

Yes, Mohist can update their mappings to include the relevant ender chest details. This is not an OI/plugin issue. It is a missing server remapping, and needs to be fixed on the server's end.
I noticed on 1.18 I can no longer access the armor and offhand slots of someone's inventory? This has drastically reduced the usefulness of the plugin for us and I was just curious as to why that is or if I'm missing something.
In reply to Letholldus:
OI still provides those slots in 1.18. You are likely accidentally using a command from another plugin, such as Essentials'
/invsee
. You can verify that you're using the correct command by using the plugin name as a prefix, i.e./openinv:oi

Got it working, was an issue with the version I had, for some reason the first time I downloaded it, it was an older version
Hello, I posted an issue on github as I can't get the plugin to run on 1.12. Thanks for supporting this plugin!
Hey! I got this Plugin for my server and it works great! but I can't get it to work on 1.18.2 could you maybe work on a newer version for *1.18.2?*
In reply to cqmicz:
The update to 1.18.2 has been available via dev builds (downloadable from GitHub Actions runs) since 28 Feb. I did not have time to test, so no release was made. The release has now been tagged on GH, and it appears that the automation of the upload to Bukkit finally worked correctly (hooray!) so the file will be available for download via Bukkit when staff approves it.
hello, i have tried multiple times to re-install and delete this pluggin to get it to work but it isnt working, any help is much appreciated!
In reply to whoatemychicken:
Going to need more information than that to help you. Versions, any errors, what actually is happening, etc.
I have tried downloading the plugin on my server it is the latest version for 1.18 and i have no affecting plugins installed but when i try to install it, it says it had an error. Is it something to do with 1.18.1? I have been hoping for a 1.18.1 update for a while now but i have tried installing the current version multiple times and it hasn't worked i dont know if its a problem with the server or curseforge (Edit: Or if its a problem with the plugin pls try to fix this)
In reply to UKLabs:
Please post the error using a paste site. Can't help you without any information.
In reply to Jikoo_K:
When i install it the server throws error: 403: Forbidden is this problem with the server or curseforge?
In reply to UKLabs:
Sounds like you're not using a direct link to the file for wget or something. Curse's redirects require cookies and have since Curse was sold to Twitch. You can either get the direct link yourself, download in a way that supports cookies, or download from another source (i.e. GitHub) that doesn't require additional hoops to be jumped through for the command line.
That has nothing to do with OI, it's the Bukkit site's system.
can we toggle the aliases anywere?
In reply to ClassyCustom:
You can use Bukkit's commands.yml system to modify commands and redirect to specific aliases from specific plugins.
In reply to Jikoo_K:
thanks
how i can give me permission on the server for use the commands? like i have a server and the plugin in it but i cant do eny command
In reply to rhochis1:
you can give your self the permission over the console of the server
I know a 1.18 version is already on github but will it ever be uploaded to here?
In reply to pugguy9:
It was uploaded the same day that the release was made on GitHub. Bukkit approvals are slow unless you get lucky with timing. Looks like it wasn't done Friday and it's kinda understandable that it wouldn't be done over the weekend.
