What Version of OnTime and Bukkit are you using?
OnTime: 4.1.3
Spigot: (unsure but it is recent)

What storage option are you using? (YML or MYSQL) ? YML

What permissions plugin are you using?  Essentials X Groupmanager

What steps will reproduce the problem?
I recently have had complaints of players tags not changing when they get promoted. I found out its not the tags not changing they are working as they should but somehow Ontime switched from adding perms to the main perm to the sub for everyone causing the tgs to not change and some younger players to get mad that they cant rank up though they are. This issue works great for staff ranks who use the sub group anyways but for the other 90% of my server it is an issue.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Main group perm being promoted rather than the Sub

Do you have an console log of what happened? n/a

Are you having a "rewards" problem?  Please provide a link to a copy of your /plugins/OnTime/rewards.yml :

Did you turn on OnTime logging (/ontime logfile enable 1)?  If so, provide a link to that file too.

This issue i believe was happening back in january when i was using mysql aswell

Hi. Started looking at this today. I can't reproduce the problems as OnTime does promotions in my test system not to the sub but to the main group as expected.

So, I will need some more information so I can better duplicate your setup. Can you share with me the following: Your GM 'groups.yml' from your main world, as well as your OnTime 'rewards.yml' files.

Also, it would be very helpful if you could create the situation and have it captured in the OnTimeLog.txt

1. Manually set a player with sufficient time to receive a promotion to the default permission group.
2. Have the player log in to your server
3. They should go through automated promotions to get them to the highest group for which they are eligible.
4. Post a link to the resulting OnTimeLog.txt file to this ticket
