I have a problem with ontime. everytime it give rewards it will send two messages and give twice the rewards.

What did I do wrong?

Please provide all of the information requested in the ticket template . Especially a link to a copy of your rewards.yml. Impossible to help you without some information.

Actually I was testing ontime and tried to give to Owner group econ 1000 per 1m and it is exclusive only to Owner Group..

What happens is when it is time to give the rewards two same messages pops out in the chat and 2000 is reflected in the econ balance.

Why is this happening?

The reward definition looks ok. I don't know why this is happening.

Please enable OnTime logging by running this command:

/ontime logfile enable 1

Then after you see a couple of occurances of these double rewards, paste a link to the OnTime Log.txt file you will find in the plugins/OnTime folder.

Also I need to know the exact OnTime version you are using. (And please next time provide the information as requested in the ticket template, so I don't have to ask for everything. You will get a quicker resolution to your issue this way.)

What server version are you using?

What I see in the log file is very strange. It looks like on each login, the server is initiating two join events instead of one. It is happening in such quick succession that OnTime is processing the two as two different players, which results in what looks like duplicated rewards.

Its either that or you somehow have two instances of OnTime running at one time, which I don't think is possible.

You may want to try removing the OnTime.jar from your plugins directory, re-download and try a fresh start.

Other than that I am at a loss of what to suggest as I have never seen such a thing as this problem you have.

Im using the latest dev 1.7.9 I guess it is in this version that it has problems.

I will not chase issues when the server build being used is not at least a beta build version. So if you are using a dev build, I would have to request that you try again using the most recent recommended or beta build to see if the problem still appears. (Also, I have not yet issued a version of OnTime officially supporting v1.7.x, so again there may be problems I cannot quickly resolve.) Many servers are using OnTime v3.13.3 with beta 1.7.9, so it does work (mostly). )

(This is why its important for you to take the time to full out the full ticket, even when repeating information, as it makes things faster and easier in terms of my support.)

I have seen the reason however when I issue a reload to the server this error comes out. the first time the server run it will now show. But when I issue a reload it will happen..

I found an issue in upon the reload of the plugin that was logging a player in twice. It is possible this was leading to the issue you saw with double rewards.

Please download and try v3.13.4

Issue still occuring in version 3.13.4 but it only occurs till player first relog.

When new player comes to the server, he gets his rewards 2x each time but after he relogs he will get it just 1x each time.

Tested on both - yaml and mysql.

What server build version are you using?

And can you post another version of the OnTimeLog.txt file so I can see another example of the plugin in action when the error is seen?
