What is the issue? - Adding a feature which allows users to join the server, but not build/move/chat/ until they accept the rules with some sort of command. - Adding a configurable broadcast message (to all users, to admin or only the player) when a user accepts the rules (true or false)
Please provide any additional information below. Instead of haveing another plugin additional to this one, it would be great to add this feature. Your plugin itself are just terrific! I enjoy it, it has so much to offer and so much to have configured.
Example:
EmZon joined the game. Server:To be allowed to move/chat/build you need to accept the rules. Read the /rules EmZon:/rules EmZon: /acceptrules Broadcast to (user/admin/self): EmZon has accepted the rules and can build (configurable)
extremely good feature to have!
I have finally started to think about how to integrate this with the plugin. The reason this has sat so long is that the base of this request is outside the theme of the plugin.
In other words OnTime is supposed to be all about time and rewards, it is really not intended to be a 'promotions' plugin. But what I am finding out is that may users of the plugin are really using it just for the promotions part, so I'm now reconsidering this request.
What I am thinking is that this is something that would automatically kick in after a player has been on for a certain amount of time (this is the 'time' tie in I would like to have), and it puts the player into a 'conversation' with the plugin, where OnTime would then ask the player 'do you agree to abide by the rules?'. The player will be forced to answer and if they say 'yes' then a reward will be issued for a group change.
This will likely require use of mySQL, so I can track if the player has done this step or not.

You made a comment on OnTime ticket #39. Please see my post on that ticket and give me your thoughts on my idea. Thanks.

The promotion part would be nice without the time limit, many Minecraft users don't have the patient or will to stay on a server if they have to be forced to stay online within a timelimit. It should be "free will" to accept the rules and play, or leave the server. I am always for the players fun level in minecraft, and I try to provide everything to be with ease and fun for a player. In means I make my server very user friendly so it is easy to start and no one forcing you to do anything. In a metaphore it's like haveing a democracy or a dictator style on the server :)
