Nihonkurafuto
NOTE: This project is on hold right now. Presently, this plugin will require a client mod to run with it. I am having trouble using the Minecraft Coder Pack, it doesn't want to work on my computer.
This plugin takes advantage of Minecraft 1.1's language packs and allows the user to input text in Hiragana, Katakana or Kyōiku Kanji.
The player can type /nihongo on to turn Japanese mode on and /nihongo off to turn it off. If it is off, they can type into the chat box normally.
If it is turned on, the player can type into the chat box in Romajī and when they press enter to submit their message, it converts into Japanese characters! (It can handle Hiragana, Katakana and Kyōiku Kanji.)
This plugin is both English and Japanese. Any console input, chat messages, etc. that this plugin makes are in both English and Japanese.

Posted Jan 3, 2018Yeah, this project is dead and never was really living. I created this when I was *cough* I really hate to say this *cough* a socially-inept dorky middle schooler whose only refuge was watching anime and playing Minecraft and trying to make a working Java program. I was a total noob, a noob who was clever enough to make it appear online that I knew what I was doing. I lost my crazy obsession with anime and gave up trying to code in high school (I never made a successful program), and now I'm studying urban planning at Cornell University. I still play Minecraft, but I don't pretend I'm making a cool new plugin.

I can't find a download, if you want to use japanese on your server, just mod it, http://forum.minecraftuser.jp/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2157&start=220#p31184 It works with the latest RB. (1.2.5-R3.0)
