Plugin description:
This plugin allow the average player (with the right permissions of course ^-^) to create his or her own prefix! The plugin commands and permissions will be down below. A lot of updates will be added to this plugin this week, this is alpha for the plugin. Please report any issues below.
Commands:
/prefix <prefix>
- this is for setting your prefix, color codes are enabled with the right permissions.
/prefixclear
- resets the prefix.
Permissions:
mp.prefix
- allows the player to use /prefix.
mp.prefixclear
- allows for the player to use /prefixclear.
mp.color
- allows for color in the players prefix.

Ok so i was reading some of the other comments and decided to try out the plugin myself, You need to add the {PREFIX} So people using essentialschat could make it so someone could have [CoolPrefix] [GroupManagerPrefix] Name: Message EG For a prison server my name as owner would be [Owner] [A] CheeseWees: Hello

Posted Dec 6, 2013== Suggestion == I was thinking that this would be an AWESOME donator plugin, And I would love to have the prefix approval thing, however I do think that people will be able to spam requests, so, If you could add a way that limits them to the number of times that they can change a prefix per day, That would be awesome.... Another thing, Do you thing that you could add in a command that lets Admins change Other peoples prefixes. One last thing, i noticed that I have essentials and I had a colored name, But when I set a prefix it remove that color, This needs to be fixed in some way, THANKS

Posted Oct 19, 2013I have encountered another issue with MyPrefix: when donors on my server try to get a custom prefix, it says it cannot be shorter than 0 letters/numbers.

Posted Oct 9, 2013I believe the the approval system wouldn't really be efficient, because you could have an Admin abusing their powers and denying everyone's prefix. I think a better approach would be to make it so players can get all the custom prefixes they want, but the Owner can block all the prefixes they want in a config. For example, if the Owner blocked A-d-m-i-n, and the donor player tried A-d-m-i-n, it would pop up a message that would say 'That prefix is blocked at this time!' or something similar.

Posted Sep 15, 2013I can't be using this plugin, personally. I would've.. then I realised (even donors) would be able to mimic admin, owner and moderator prefix, this would trick some users :(
However, you could add a permission on what they can use for prefix like ''mp.prefix.[&aVIP&f]'' and then give the user ''mp.prefix.[&5VIP&f]'' the purpose of this would be to allow different coloured prefix, as not everyone likes the colour you put for them! :) Thanks! :D

I think this would be useful for me, but I am using BungeeSuiteChat on my network of servers. I am wondering about how this plugin works. Does it like replace the Groupmanager prefix for the player? Because BungeeSuiteChat has a {prefix} variable that uses Vault to find the player's prefix that was set in Groupmanager.

Posted Aug 5, 2013I have discovered a bug... I gave a donor the permission mp.prefixclear and he says he still cannot clear his prefix. I tried it too, and even though im OWNER, /prefixclear has not worked.
