About MV2
Multiverse was created at the dawn of Bukkit multiworld support. It has since then grown into a complete world management solution including special treatment of your nether worlds with [NetherPortals](http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/multiverse-netherportals/).
In the second delivery of Multiverse, we've broken it up into several smaller plugins that are each feature packed but *not bloated*! Multiverse provides the easiest to use world management solution for your Minecraft server, big or small, and with great addons like Portals and NetherPortals, what's not to love!
Multiverse is back! Is your server, a Multiverse?
Multiverse-SignPortals Features
- Slap a sign on a standard Nether Portal and it goes where the sign says!
- Place a sign anywhere else and users can right click to go to the destination!
So long Awesome Builds
We use to have this notion of an "Awesome Build" or AB which was suppose to be thought of like Bukkit's Recommended Build system. Awesome Builds were ones that we put extra testing into and were meant to be very stable. Unfortunately there will be no more Awesome Builds. Our development team doesn't have the time to devote to the project that we use to. As such, we've moved to a new build system which you'll notice in the new version numbering. Our release builds here should be stable; Lots of people have had time to vet them for us while they were only development builds. While we don't have much time to work on the project, we do still take critical bugs very seriously and try to get them fixed as quickly as possible.
Sign Portals is not working for Spigot 1.8: the color of [mv] on the sign does not change to green and doesn't even teleport admin.
Does this work for 1.7.9/10?
1.7.9 update please
@Patrix87
Then use the MV Portal plugin, not the sign portal one. :/
yea. basic portals, signs and even typing doesn't work. I have perms all laid out properly and checked with parse. Stupid
Sign Portal Problem:
I would like to teleport from sign portal to sign portal.
Only problem... I can't name a sign portal...
Upgrade suggested :
Use the first line of the sign to name the portal
EXAMPLE :
Sign on the 1st Portal ___ portal1 [mv] p:portal2 ___
Sign on the 2nd Portal ___ portal2 [mv] p:portal1 ___
TADA !
4 people whant to know one thing just tell us what it is even i we wont like it please
Is there a permission I'm missing? The players on my server can't use the sign portals!
@tankerkiller125
What is that permission? The wiki permissions listed don't work. All of my non-op players can't use the sign portals.
Whats the node to let non-oped people use the signportals? This is how i have typed it..
groups: User: default: true permissions: - multiverse.signportal.access.*
It dosent work, please help!
@TMAN22222222
Check this out: https://github.com/Multiverse/Multiverse-Portals/wiki/Permissions
Use the portal permissions and it works with both the portals you make AND the signs you make too! (When you make a portal you name it, so you use the name you gave that portal for the end of the permission node)
Is there any permissions to make the signs or is it OP based?
Will this be updated to 1.7.8 or 1.8 when the time comes? I'm thinking about adding it to my server now but i dont want to wait forever on an update.
My players sometimes get a "This portal leads nowhere" message when walking into a portal. They have been checked and confirmed working, but they still continue to get this message. Is it a known bug/glitch? Or is it just me screwing something up?
Add support for the variable nether portal sizes maybe? For now I am restricted to the normal size D:
Aha! I found multiInv! use this!
When will you update the Multiverse Inv because thats all i need to finish my server
@youri12
I'm not on the dev team for MVSignPortals, but I use it a lot, and I think I know what's up.
For worlds, you have to put:
[mv]
w:<world name>
Not just:
[mv]
<worldname>
This is because there are different types of sign portal besides world sign portal. Hope this helped!
i can't put survival_the_end on a sign and if i continue on another line it says invalid
@cubby208
Hi.
I am not this plugins DEV, but I can help you out.
You need to go to where you want to spawn inside the world and type this on the exact spawn block you want:
/mv setspawn
Hope this helped! :)
