About MV2
Multiverse was created at the dawn of Bukkit multiworld support. It has since then grown into a complete world management solution including special treatment of your nether worlds with NetherPortals.
In the second delivery of Multiverse, we've broken it up into several smaller plugins that are each feature packed but *not bloated*! Multiverse provides the easiest to use world management solution for your Minecraft server, big or small, and with great addons like Portals and NetherPortals, what's not to love!
Multiverse is back! Is your server, a Multiverse?
Multiverse-Portals Features
- Restrict users from using specific portals with permissions
- Charge users to use specific portals!
- Exempt users from portal fees.
- Launch users through the air when they enter a Multiverse Portal!
- Allow minecarts/boats through Multiverse Portals
So long Awesome Builds
We use to have this notion of an "Awesome Build" or AB which was suppose to be thought of like Bukkit's Recommended Build system. Awesome Builds were ones that we put extra testing into and were meant to be very stable. Unfortunately there will be no more Awesome Builds. Our development team doesn't have the time to devote to the project that we use to. As such, we've moved to a new build system which you'll notice in the new version numbering. Our release builds here should be stable; Lots of people have had time to vet them for us while they were only development builds. While we don't have much time to work on the project, we do still take critical bugs very seriously and try to get them fixed as quickly as possible.
@joselitoeu
Whoops, forgot to put this in the changelog. opfallback is gone now.
There are 2 new variables: enforceaccess = true/false enforceportalaccess = true/false
If you want everyone to go to all worlds and all portals, set both of those to true.
NOTE: One is in Core's config.yml, the other is in Portals config.yml
After the 2.1b295 update only me can use the portals now. And the opfallback is set true.

Double check that you're actually on 1337. The error message posted indicated that you are somewhere between 1317 and 1320.
Shortly after my last post, I rechecked my server log and found the error message that accompanies /mvp remove.
2011-10-20 08:51:37 [SEVERE] null org.bukkit.command.CommandException: Unhandled exception executing command 'mvp' in plugin Multiverse-Portals v2.1-b295 at org.bukkit.command.PluginCommand.execute(PluginCommand.java:42) at org.bukkit.command.SimpleCommandMap.dispatch(SimpleCommandMap.java:163) at org.bukkit.craftbukkit.CraftServer.dispatchCommand(CraftServer.java:355) at net.minecraft.server.NetServerHandler.handleCommand(NetServerHandler.java:757) at net.minecraft.server.NetServerHandler.chat(NetServerHandler.java:722) at net.minecraft.server.NetServerHandler.a(NetServerHandler.java:715) at net.minecraft.server.Packet3Chat.a(Packet3Chat.java:33) at net.minecraft.server.NetworkManager.b(NetworkManager.java:226) at net.minecraft.server.NetServerHandler.a(NetServerHandler.java:92) at org.getspout.spout.SpoutNetServerHandler.a(SpoutNetServerHandler.java:500) at net.minecraft.server.NetworkListenThread.a(SourceFile:108) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.h(MinecraftServer.java:471) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.run(MinecraftServer.java:374) at net.minecraft.server.ThreadServerApplication.run(SourceFile:417) Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Cannot store null at org.bukkit.configuration.MemorySection.prepForStorage(MemorySection.java:526) at org.bukkit.configuration.MemorySection.set(MemorySection.java:189) at org.bukkit.configuration.MemorySection.set(MemorySection.java:191) at com.onarandombox.MultiversePortals.utils.PortalManager.removePortal(PortalManager.java:117) at com.onarandombox.MultiversePortals.commands.RemoveCommand.runCommand(RemoveCommand.java:40) at com.pneumaticraft.commandhandler.CommandHandler.checkAndRunCommand(CommandHandler.java:245) at com.pneumaticraft.commandhandler.CommandHandler.processFoundCommands(CommandHandler.java:115) at com.pneumaticraft.commandhandler.CommandHandler.locateAndRunCommand(CommandHandler.java:70) at com.onarandombox.MultiversePortals.MultiversePortals.onCommand(MultiversePortals.java:297) at org.bukkit.command.PluginCommand.execute(PluginCommand.java:40) ... 13 more
After updating to 1337, no previously made portals function. They can be selected and modified. Attempting to remove them results in "An internal error occurred while attempting to perform this command" with nothing further on the console.
Attempting to create a new portal, after selecting a region, and typing /mvp create portalname, results in "You need to LEFT click on a blick with your wand(INSERT WAND NAME HERE)!" - Left clicking with the wand just re-selects a block, but no portal is created.
@farlin
Confirmed. Thanks. There were errors in CB 1317 (many) Please dear god everyone that's on 1317 update to 1337 (and everyone else too :P)
I upgraded to CraftBukkit RB 1337 and seemed to resolve the errors.
Having the same issue as x8105
Everything else loads fine...

@holylon
Looks like you're trying to create a portal that already exists: "The permission multiverse.portal.access.animus is already defined"
Will put some additional error checking in 2.1 tonight.
Get error when I try to create a new portal:
Multiverse + Wormhole X-Treme = Like stargate!
@fernferret
Alright thanks... iConomy sent me here so eh I'll try figure out myself, god why would someone make register economy plugins were fine without It!
@Crete21
Not atm, but noted. Please go file a feature request here: Feature Requests
@AxelF87
If those plugins are worth their salt, we shouldn't have to "integrate" they should listen to the bukkit events, and proceed accordingly.
@SS94_
Guarantee you it's an economy specific error as we don't interact with register at all.
@cole32547
Have you read the Frequently Asked Questions ;)
https://github.com/Multiverse/Multiverse-Core/wiki/FAQ#wiki-safe
Is it possible to integrate sth. like clearinventory by using a gate? I have a creative world, and after leaving it, the Inventory should be cleared for the Survival Worlds. Plugins like "MultiInv" and "Creativity" make my Server laggy.
Sorry for my bad englisch! AxelF
I keep getting that all of my worlds are unsafe to teleport to
Anyway you can make multi-verse portals work with register? multi-verse core works fine with register but multi-verse portals give off errors and disable register and multi-verse portals.
Please fix this as I need register as much as I need multi-verse portals!
