- Useful in game commands
Is Multiverse Missing that little something that you need?
Ask us! Or better yet, hop on our discord and tell us that you'd like to fork us and add a feature! You can of course do this without consulting us, but we cannot accept pull requests that will break Multiverse for the rest of our users! Don't go write your own World Management plugin, join the team and submit a pull request
Want your plugin to use the Multiverse API
(currently undocumented, sorry...) Again, hop on IRC and tell us! We love talking to other devs and a bunch of us will be able to help you out!

Big problem here. The plugin works fine on my 1.8 server however some items it cannot store the data. Like for example a mobspawner. I give players a specific mobspawner like with spiders as reward however if they change world and thus change inventory and then come back then the mobspawner will have turned in a normal pig spawner. Anyway to fix this ?
Is this going to be updated to support UUIDs?
I'm having a problem. I got this working on my Spigot 1.8.4 server, and I'm running two worlds... called "Survival" and "Creative", unimaginatively enough... the problem being that the mod sees Creative just fine, and lets me add it to a group... which separates it's inventory like I wanted... but it doesn't see the Survival world... or the seed number, or just plain 'world'... which makes the nether inventory unlinked to it and causing problems.
Having an issue with this mod.. It seems to work fine on Spigot 1.8.4, but one problem... I named my primary seed "Survival" and for some reason it doesn't recognize it when I try to make a group for it, nor does it see the seed number, or 'world'... so my primary seed's world and nether are defaulting to seperate inventory, which is no beuno...
I made a second world called "Creative" and was able to seperate that inventory... but it seems that I can't get this group for the primary seed to work.
Not a mod xD
A plugin
@Emalton
The jar it was built with is 1.7.9 but it doesn't support uuids meaning that it does not support name changes.
@snakey07
You shouldnt need to do any changes in the configuration. Just drop the plugin into the plugins folder and it will manage your inventories. You may want to modify the groups.yml file, which you would do manually. You use the groups file to tell the plugin which worlds share inventories. For example, YourSurvivalWorld and YourSurvivalWorld_nether.
I dont understand how the plugin is configured is there any commands or do I do it manually?
@TriptychPlaysMC
The source is on GitHub. The version is 1.7.9: https://github.com/Multiverse/Multiverse-Inventories/
I hate doing this but it's been needed for over two years now. I made a plugin called Separate World Items it's on spigot and it supports uuid also has a mv-i converter if any of you guys need it.
Is there a way to convert all the multiverse inventories's .json files to vanilla world .dat files?
I've had many of the problems that people have been having in the comments, but keeping up with the increasingly stable spigot updates have positively slowed down/stopped the bugs. If you are using craftbukkit 1.8/1.8.3, then you dumb, cuz dat shit makes da server crash a lot, and crashes will lead to the sort of bugs you are all experiencing with the plugin. Also try using the latest dev build on their jenkins, because it's from Sept. 4th 2014 rather than Jan. 7th 2013. :L
For the big Creative/Survival bug use this! http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/glitchpatcher/
@ursak
Yeah... 2 years :P
Do any of the downloads work for 1.7.2?
I use CB 1.4.6-R0.3 on my 1.7.2 server, and it works :)
@Shadowhackercz
How many years now have there been talk about this "MultiVerse 3"? :P
@PatrickThagaard
"Multiverse-Inventories has several critical bugs that have no apparent solution without a total wipe of all inventory data. As such, due to time constraints and our focus on the production of Multiverse 3 you use this product AT YOUR OWN RISK. Support for Multiverse-Inventories issues is next to non-existent. It may be possible that you can use this plugin without problems so again, do so at your own risk."
Having huge issues with inventories being shared between worlds in different groups.
Creative world inventories moving over to survival etc.
Its overall pretty bad..
So hoping for an update - there are no errors, no nothing - just happens randomly, a few times a day..
