Is Multiverse Missing that little something that you need?
Ask us! Or better yet, hop on our discord and tell us that you'd like to fork us and add a feature! You can of course do this without consulting us, but we cannot accept pull requests that will break Multiverse for the rest of our users! Don't go write your own World Management plugin, join the team and submit a pull request
Want your plugin to use the Multiverse API
(currently undocumented, sorry...) Again, hop on IRC and tell us! We love talking to other devs and a bunch of us will be able to help you out!

The current dev build of MV core is not compatible with the current version of MV inventories. Did not test the dev-build of MV inventories though
they just die after the swirling goes away..
okay so i just got multiinv about a day ago and no one on my server can go to the nether anymore.. help?
@Jeronimo654
According to the big disclaimer on the downoad page, it is gone. Always back up!
I updated to a newer dev-Build which comes with enderchest Support. But now all enderchests are empty. Is there a Way to get the content back? Isn't it stored in the Player.dat? Maybe you can write a short script which imports the enderchest content or add an option in the configuration to disable the enderchest support, so bukkit uses the "old" enderchests again.
I have multiverse inventories and I was wondering how I could let people keep their inventory when going into the nether, from a certain world. How could this be done.
Multiverse inventories is stopping gamemode changing and such Thanks
Hey how about making last_location do for any world instead of just world group? Love the inventory app and am looking forward to the adventure app maturity. Keep up the fantastic work.
Does this work with WorldEdit? I installed this and it doesn't work.
Also, is there a way to keep mobs from spawning in certain worlds? And lock worlds at a certain time? The smaller MyWorlds plugin can do both.
@nnnnjan2222
Are you saying there is a problem with books? If so you should report it on the issue tracker (make a ticket).
pls fix the books
@zempire2010mjk - thanks! got it - was thinking at the house number setting (2, 3, 4, etc.) rather than the actual permission for sethome.multiple - so i removed that from my other server limiting them now to 1. Perfect.
Any thoughts on why my imported worlds start with 0 inventory for my players? I copied another world over, did an /mv import but inventories are empty when you mvtp to the world. strange. not sure why they're clearing out. the initial world kept inventories fine for each player??
@hooners
the essentials home feature has to be set on a per world basis through your permissions system as the only thing MV impacts on is allowing you to now have multiple worlds.
the following are the permissions nodes that affect that and you would have to set them true/false/etc based on per world permissions.
essentials.sethome (Allow access to the /sethome command.)
essentials.sethome.multiple (Allows player to have multiple homes, or create named homes. Required for 2+ homes.)
essentials.sethome.multiple.[set] (Raise the multiple home limit to a setting defined in the config file.)
essentials.sethome.multiple.unlimited (Removes the cap on the number of homes people are allowed if they have multiple homes.)
essentials.sethome.others (Allows you to change another users home location.)
Struggling with import and feel like an idiot. Been trying to consolidate 2 servers into single with MV and the first world works fine and all inventory working, but when I add the second world and group separately (i want different inventories) all my users lose all their inventory and xp in this second world?? Are secondary + worlds added always requiring a cleared out inventory? What am I missing?
Also - one other question that is sort of essentials-based, but impacted by MV - is there any way I can limit the number of homes allowed to players by world group? I have one world I like to allow them more flexibility (i.e. 10 homes) and then one that I'm keeping more to the true game and only allow 1 home. So I'd like to be able to set this parameter at the per-world group settings...is this doable?
Thanks!!
@Tobias2289
Enderchests save per-world.
Is there any way to allow one-way item transfers? So like, items can't go into world X but items from world X can go into world Y?
@gg3564789
I use MV Core, Portals, and Inventories.
It should be MV Core that sets the players gamemode based on the world type being entered as just using the /mvtp player world command on a player changes their gamemode to creative or survival with a message saying such in game to them.
Umm, for those talking about previous enderchest contents missing it is stated as follows right on the 2.5-b195 download page;
THIS VERSION WILL CONVERT YOUR DATA TO A NEW FORMAT THAT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH PREVIOUS VERSIONS!!!
DUE TO THE TEMPORARY FIX USED FOR ENDER CHESTS, PREVIOUS ENDER CHEST CONTENTS WILL BE GONE
So that is why everything prior to updating the plugin to the above referenced version is gone now, and that is a direct cut & paste of the notice which they have in bold large caps on the download page.
