Is Multiverse Missing that little something that you need?
Ask us! Or better yet, hop on our discord and tell us that you'd like to fork us and add a feature! You can of course do this without consulting us, but we cannot accept pull requests that will break Multiverse for the rest of our users! Don't go write your own World Management plugin, join the team and submit a pull request
Want your plugin to use the Multiverse API
(currently undocumented, sorry...) Again, hop on IRC and tell us! We love talking to other devs and a bunch of us will be able to help you out!
@greaperc4
That's not normal Multiverse behavior. You probably have some other conflicting plugin.
Well, i have more worlds, en 2 worlds have xp shared: i tried experience on shared xp and total_xp non of them works when someone is switching to the 2nd world he stays at the XP he has in the first world if i give him extra xp in the 2nd world and he switches back to the 1st world he will lose the XP i gave to him. Why is This and could this be Fixed!??
thanks, Regards greaperc4
(This is also in the Issues)
I found a 2nd problem, in my server when u kill someone he will spawn at the point he was killed my players Don't realy like this (SpawnRape) hope it gets fixed or i hope there will be a option in the config for this
I have a little challenge here.
I have numerous worlds. Normally you cant transport items between the main world and "distant" worlds. They run different inventories. This is deliberate.
I want to be able to carry items from a "distant" world, onto a common world, and from there it can be carried to the main world. But if anyone travels any other way, be it warps/portals/teleports directly to a given world I don't want the inventory to come across.
Basically I need a way that items can only be carried from particular worlds to the "homeworld" if you use a space ship!
Currently in experimenting it appears this plugin is a case of all or nothing. The only way to make it work is share everything between all worlds, which given this could be achieved by simply deleting multiverse_inventories.jar; makes the plugin someone pointless :/
If I keep experimenting - if i remove something from default group, share that item in a second group - including if it links worlds on default. Thet resolves conflict - But that still doesn't result in my aim above. Although in a round about way, I can set ender chests to allow items to be carried onto the space ship from a distant world, then pick the items up from ender chest in spaceship and stroll out of the space ship to the home world.
Messy but works - ideally tho "directional" inventory sharing might be a long term experimental enhancement. In my case a space ship but could just as easily be a "trade/travel hub" or simply a way to prevent players abusing their teleport abilities, avoiding ruining any roleplay framework you have tried to setup on your server.
Ie, Go from world a to world b, and the inventory carries to world b. Go from world b to world c, then the inventory comes again. But go from world c to a, and you get nothing; unless first passing over world b. Since the items get left behind - it shouldn't result in any dupe bugs. But you could have a problem if you go to world c, jump to a, pick up more stuff, then travel via b to c again, and have the items you left previously at c overwritten. Only way to deal with this conflict may be to have your previous inventory spill out onto the ground, preserving both item sets.
In any event this particular exception to conflicts would do what i thought this plugin was meant to do in the first place :P

"•Have separated players stats and inventories per world or per group of worlds."
It's in the plugin's description. Please read the information before you ask a question.

This plugin works on bukkit version 1.4.7?
thanks
@acap41
It only saves the player's inventory to mv-inv when the player leaves that world. That way when they come back to that world they get that inventory restored. Otherwise inventory is handled like normal, so you don't need to import all inventories at once.
Is there a way to import all inventories without needing the player to come online, if this is the first time I have used this plugin?
I am currently developing a server which hosts a wide range of different gametype and map types ingame using Multiverse. We have a large range of plugins that are also being used on the server, so managing and making sure all the plugins are working together is a difficult task.
One issue our server team has come across is the inability to have seperate 'Economies' per world. We use a plugin 'BOSEconomy' due it its large flexibilty and overall usefulness and would like to have seperate economies for our different worlds using this economy plugin. Is there an ability to do so, and if not, would it be possible to integrate this for the different economy plugins on the market? Including BOSEconomy and Iconomy?
Thanks!,

@MinecraftShamrock
No. The gamemode is managed by Multiverse-Core and what you have set in its configuration.
@Vapor_Lock
You will always lose access to the inventories for worlds the player is not currently in, unless you export that data to another multiworld inventory plugin (or maybe restore it in some other creative fashion). However, the data for the world they're currently in will always be perfectly fine since the current inventory is saved normally.
Okay how do I safely delete multiverse inventories without everyone losing all their items?
Should this work with 1.4.7 because one of my players lost all their items when going between worlds.
@Vapor_Lock
go into the groups.yml and add all the worlds that you want to have the same items to the list.
