About Multiverse
Multiverse was created at the dawn of Bukkit multiworld support. It has since then grown into a complete world management solution including special treatment of your nether worlds with Multiverse NetherPortals.
In the second delivery of Multiverse, we've broken it up into several smaller plugins that are each feature packed but not bloated! Multiverse provides the easiest to use world management solution for your Minecraft server, big or small, and with great addons like Portals and NetherPortals, what's not to love!
Multiverse is here and works for the latest server build! Is your server a Multiverse?

Is Multiverse missing that little something that you need?
Hop on our Discord and tell us that you'd like to fork us and add a feature! You can of course do this without consulting us, but we cannot accept pull requests that will break Multiverse for the rest of our users! Don't go write your own World Management plugin, join the team and submit a pull request.

@fernferret
I fixed the BananaSpace issue myself with a bit of a work around. http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/bananaspace/#c72
Also a developer there has some new way to manage world u may be interested in that might solve all the issues between generators and worlds.
Having a problem If someone dies in a world when they teleport back to that world or use a portal they instantly die again Any ideas? They're ok with every other world only the one they dies in
@fernferret
Great, thank you!
@fernferret

It's here if you want it now: http://ci.onarandombox.com/job/Multiverse-Core/275/
@Anciteify
/mv modify set mode creative
/mv modify set mode survival
How I make one world be surival and the other creative talking about modes :/
@jonilaht
Nope. Someone asked for the hunger code but never tested it :( Then It got pushed into the latest build. Consider it broken atm. It'll be looked at soon.
@BadDogNoBiscuits
No. It crashes clients.
Everything else is working fine, but hunger setting doesnt seem to do anything.
I have two worlds, first has hunger=false and seconds has hunger=true, still you die in the first one without eating.
Any idea? Using CB1185 and latest MV2.
Is the maps' height limit editable with your plugin?
Been using Multiverse on my server since CB953 I guess and loved it ever since . When I moved our 1060 server to 1185 lately I ventured on moving to the 2.0 release (Multiverse-Core 2.0-b265) aswell. I found it pretty neat to have our creative world now in real creative mode, with just a slight change in the worlds.yml (I scrapped some flying and creative-mode-like plugins afterwards)
Thanks Multiverse Team for the smoothest migration ever :D
@fernferret
Sure but I think I missed the time u asked so, I am using 271 I tested it as well when it was in development status still. I will come on IRC
@GladiTek
You don't need essentials spawn plugin installed along side this, Essentials is modular for a reason use one or the other. This same assumption can be used when comparing any other plugins with similar functions ;)
Hey there. I Honestly cant figure out why whenenver I Restart my computer Multiverse doesent work. I Have Essentials,Chatsuite,And Yes I Did update To the latest version of multiverse, Why is This?
@ledhead900
First try an update to 271 (the latest AB) Then come on IRC later (+5 hours from this post time) if you can and I'll try to help ya out there.
awesome plugin!
but there is a essentials spawn incompatibility...
I get this msg everytime I use /spawn or /home
SEVERE Could not pass event PLAYER_TELEPORT to Multiverse-Core
@BadDogNoBiscuits
No, You need to setup Dynmap's Templates for each world you have if you want to remove or add HD or edit the way it shows Skylands by adding the HD or the non Flat map methods you need to manually go into the config and change all of that stuff in the template's or create your own template.
by default Dynmap will only generate a flat map of skylands you need to go in the config and un comment the rest so that it looks like your normal worlds template.
I suggest you take this up with over on the dynmap forums thread.
Well, actually my question was to know how you have dynmap create maps: do you ask it to create a particular map or do you just say: there is a new world, deal with it dynmap? I wondered that because here is what I get:
. creating a normal world in MV adds HD map + underground map.
. creating a skyworlds world in MV adds a flatmap only.
After some looking into it, I think I get it. I guess your plugin asks dynmap to load the maps that are defined in the config of their plugin, and doesn't ask to load a map in particular. That's why we had different results, based on different world types. Thanks for your help anyway!
@fernferret
Banana Space has issues with this since 1.8, 2011-09-25 21:28:29 [INFO] This server is running Craftbukkit version git-Bukkit-0.0.0-1067-g6301507-b1185jnks (MC: 1.8.1) 2011-09-25 21:28:32 [INFO] [Multiverse-Core] - Version 2.0-b265 Enabled - By Rigby and fernferret
and this is when I try using it to generate in game.
@BadDogNoBiscuits
We use dynmap, but I've never played around with the HD settings. This is a question for the dynmap developers.
