CraigEge, i know u've been on bukkit yesterday.
Could you please explain why %lastlogin_display% doesn't show any formatting in the Server List MOTD?
It just looks like %lastlogin% , while the plugin description states that it works for both Server List MOTD and Login MOTD =/
Please (!) add the variable %player_name% to the Server List motd! Thats the Best variable for Server List motd, better than all other variables but i can't use the variable.. Please add..!
Please add another Server List MOTD variable to display on which time the last player was seen
Great plugin please continue this plugin!
Has anyone gotten delays to work?
@CraigEge
aww.. if i read the changelog correctly the change only applies to the Login MOTD and not the Server list MOTD =(
@diannetea
Just so you know, I am just waiting on the file to be accepted :)
@diannetea
I'l add delays in the next few days when I have the time (you will have it by Monday at the latest)
@CraigEge
Could you add a configurable delay for when the message goes off? That's why displayname isn't working in my case, Essentials hasn't loaded it yet.
@ThisUsernameIsMine
It uses the function .getDisplayName() in Bukkit which is set by essentials nick names and the similar (any plugin can actually access this)!
Where does MultiMOTD retrieve the formatted %lastlogin_display% from?
I use Essentials, EssentialsChat and GroupManager but the names i see don't differ from %lastlogin% =/
@diannetea
Aha, that works! Thank you.
@kkgk39
Have you tried double single apostrophes? I'm not positive it will work but that's how it usually is
Probably a dumb question, but how do I write MOTDs with apostrophes in them without it being mistaken for the apostrophes around the message? I tried using a 'right single quotation mark' character, but it shows up ingame as gibberish like "候".
Another thing, %player_display% is not working.
I'm currently using MotdManager for my server MOTD and Essentials for my IG MOTD.
I want to replace them with this, however Essentials echoes back a list of player names that are currently online, and this does not appear to do so. Could that be added, please?
The Essentials part isn't exactly necessary as Essentials still echoes back it's MOTD as well, but the timing of the MOTD is like:
Which is sort of fine, but I'd really prefer if I could get rid of the Essentials MOTD.
I'd like it to look like:
Is this possible?
Thanks!
@maxlehot1234
As it says above, player name does not work when pinging the server as the server dosent know who you are until you login, I may be adding IP Tracking to fix this (I'm getting more and more inclined to do so)
Hi, why i have this??? I see no player name? http:imgur.com/50l48Fm
In my server console, i see this: [13:43:45 INFO]: MultiMOTD was successfully reloaded!
So it works good, no?
Great plugin, Two request can you add another variable to show personal bans %mybans% and permissions for each variable for example permission for %lastlogin% will only show players that log on with the permission.
