Find out more about the plugin on the following pages, github powered! (It'll help reduce stress and space on bukkit's servers too! :D). On a side note, just because I have a guide for installing the plugin, the method of installing it is the generic method for bukkit plugins.
Are you one of those people who changes their server MOTD frequently?

You can receive help via the plugins ticket system, provided by bukkit! Please suggest any suggestions on this post, rather than contacting me directly, thanks! If you'd like to see an example of this plugin being used, check out my server: mining.shortcutmining.com
The Plugin's version doesn't match up with bukkit's version! What do I do?!?!?!
Remain calm. This plugin is very simple, and the bukkit API that it uses is likely to never change/break - meaning you won't have to update it just because you're using a new version of bukkit... though you should check to see if there is a new version available, and always use the newest version! If there is no new version of the plugin, don't fret, it should still work fine! (Unless of course you're getting errors, in which case contact me ASAP)
Using `/+motd set PMC...` to setup planetminecraft voting, I found the plugin is appending a space to the motd. This can be seen in the config file. I have to edit the config and do /+motd reload-config to get the desired result and have PMC read the motd correctly.
Still a great plugin! No more restarts to keep the client server list fresh!
hmm could you update it for 1.7.. still use this to get the motd formatted right as its easier to reload
Any change if you making it so that it can change automatically? I can't find any of those and that would be the motd plugin that stick sout from the crowd
&l not function. Example: &a&lServer. The motd : &lServer < In green
I've been playing around with the wiki's on github.. made a simple page for any of you who want to uninstall the plugin! View page
Nice and light! Perfect
@XeonG8
Haha thanks! And yep, normally the way it works is it's set in 'stone' by minecraft's server.properties, and to change that you need to restart your whole server.
However using a genius part of the Bukkit API (which literally does the hard part for me), it's possible to get the plugin to change the MOTD... provided that the plugin is in use- so if you remove the plugin your MOTD will go back to the old one! (just a heads up!)
Awesome plugin..
always wondered why it wasn't possible to set the server motd in game via command, but I guess just the usual slack bukkit development
