Sometimes I'll remove the only stack of something from a slave chest and then when I put it into the sorter, it doesn't go anywhere, because there are no items of that type in any of the chests.

I'd like a way to designate that a slave chest is a destination for an item, without the chest having the item in it.

I like it, and I'll work on getting it for a future version

Might I suggest adding the ability to stick frames on chests and put the target item in the frame as a way of configuring the slavechests target item without cmdline or sign configs.
