MineJobs
Notice!
Quote from eNnillaMS:To all those who have come, and to those who will come in future (should there be any): This is my goodbye.
With all the old staff gone, Minecraft sold to Microsoft, and the Bukkit project basically in limbo, I've resolved to leave the Minecraft Modding community. No further updates to MineJobs will be released, and neither will there be any new plugins from myself now that I see no future for this medium.
A great thanks however to those who've supported me since my plugin's inception! 12000+ downloads is an impressive count, as is having as many as 150 servers running my plugin at once, and I won't soon forget what you've all done for me.
Adios friends.

About:
This is a jobs plugin designed to allow staff members to create and modify jobs for players on their servers. It was originally designed to be a no-fluff get-to-work kinda plugin, but I've been hard at work adding numerous OPTIONAL features. Players can log in, get a job, and start making money right away. Admins can modify every aspect of a job from in-game. Some players (Optional feature) can even create jobs for other people to work at, and they have the same job-modding commands as admins (they can't mod server jobs)! Job systems available include: Digging, Killing, Fishing, Building, Crafting, Smelting, Brewing, and Enchanting AND Digging and Killing have optional tool value modifiers!
Installation and Use:
It's as simple as dragging and dropping the jar file into your plugins folder, as long as you have Vault installed. If you don't have Vault, then get it because MineJobs is useless without an economy hook. As said above, players can join and get started right away under the right setups, but you might also need to run some Commands to make everything work right for you; and for more advanced setups, you should head over to the Permissions page, along with the Configuration help page.
Comment with suggestions for new features and tricky errors (read the startup logs first, they'll tell you what's up)!
Important Update (v5.0):
I'm back everybody! The new update features a number of small enhancements, including a version checker to tell you if there's a new version available, PluginMetrics to tell me just how many of you guys really care, and some new error outputs for Signs, mainly to tell you whether they're enabled or not because tests really didn't show anything but success on my end. UUIDs have been implemented, and configuration files will automatically update as players begin to filter into your servers.
Note about data collection:
PluginMetrics collects minimal data about the system you are operating the plugin on (Operating System, Number of Processor Cores, Java version, etc.) and can be disabled by toggling the "opt-out" variable in the configuration file of the PluginMetrics folder. This plugin also checks for updates using the Curse ServerMods-API, which can be disabled via. config.yml of the MineJobs folder. The variable "updateChecks" will disable checking for updates AND automatically downloading updates, while the variable "autoUpdate" thereby relies on "updateChecks" and can disable automatically updating the plugin, should you only want to check for updates and then download the update yourself later. All of the above toggles are set by default to 'true', and can be disabled by changing their values to 'false'.

((I'll do a DevWalkthrough Video soon, since I just upgraded my computer, just gimmie a bit))
hiya
sure ill send over the config files do you have an email to pm me
i tried removing the whole plugin folder and recreating from scratch but same errror unfortunately
The config.yml file keeps reseting when I do /reload or I restart the server, I put the "UseSigns" to true but then it resets and it changes to false, please fix this. I'm using Spigot 1.7.2 :/
So everything was working great with minejobs today. And then about 1 hour ago it just turned itself off... I didnt touch the config... Here's the config: http://pastebin.com/fZ79Pymb
What's going on?
@eNnillaMS
after i reset it the config was never edited manually or by using commands just whatever the plugin saved in it.
@lst96
And you're using in game commands to modify the config? Or just users joining basic inside stuffs.
@eNnillaMS
yea my problem was only shortly fixed. the error on startup is back on spigot. :(
Here my theory, the problem is shortly fixed when deleting the configs, until whatever causes the problem is written into the config which causes it to error again.
@eNnillaMS
Thank you Thank you! Love the plugin and so did the players! Just you get the occasional player how gets builder class and miner job -.-
@Kyren_Leah
That LOOKS like an issue with either EN.yml or template.yml.
My suggestion: Just delete them. They'll regenerate and they should work again.
@HaZeCraft_mc
So you write the config while the server is running, and restart right away? NEVER a good idea. ALL plugins save their data to the disk when the server shuts down or restarts, meaning that any unloaded changes are overwritten. I would suggest either shutting down the server for making changes like that, or reloading the plugin in-game. Depending on your version, you can reload the plugin using "/mja reload", or by typing any old command. I recently remade the reload command, but before the server read from disk every time someone ran a command to the plugin so... Yeah.
So when i try to put in my fully finished config it instantly resets to what it was before when i restart. No errors, Just resets it back. This is what i want it to be that it rolls back: http://pastebin.com/vuywyLfw This is what it rolls back to: http://pastebin.com/Dh6RhAKJ
Note that "world" doesnt exist on our server, our main world is named "world2" because of a recent transfer. I originally just changed all the worlds in the config to world2. This didnt fix the auto reset so i put world back in. What's wrong?
@eNnillaMS
Was able to get it working on my spigot server.
Hey!
I'm always getting a error on startup since using this plugin, I've uploaded the log here on pastebin: http://pastebin.com/VS5AnabS
Does this have something to do with missing config files? I didn't try to configure the plugin further so far, but I'll be getting into it later today. I've had it installed since version 3.0.0 and the error message has been getting shorter with the new update, at least :)
My thanks for your great work! If this error message won't cause any real trouble, don't bother with it :)
Could you two send me copies of your config files? I'm actually curious about what's going on now that it's been said to have worked until a certain point...
@Hmmcrunchy
yea im using spigot and it not working on my server either. It stopped working starting with 3.0.0 but still worked in 2.1.3 on spigot.
hey there alas no joy with spigot doesn't seem to get past that error which is a great shame as id love to use it
if any help this chap md_5 http://dev.bukkit.org/profiles/md_5/ does the spigot mod if you wanted to see if you could get it working have a chat with him
@Alpha3278
I haven't made anything like that yet, but you can expect it soon. :D
@nashoxx
For data values like that, using saplings as the example, you would put SAPLING_1 or SAPLING_2.
What about the items ID, like for example if I want all saplings, like 16:1, 16:2, does that works? The logs or wood would be another good example of this.
Is there a way to give players permission to access one job? not the others? Example: I have a Role Play based server, I want the [Builder] class be able to get the job Builder, but no any of the others. Is this possible with this plugin? Alpha, thanks
@DavMicrofix
One thing I would recommend, is DO NOT have any of the config files open in notepad or anything. If they pick up a job, and then the file get overwritten again it going to revert to a default file.
