I found a working car plugin, its not as good as this one but it might help the devs fix the broken movement issue. I would love to see this plugin get updated/fixed! http:dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/ucars/ Thanks~ Redblade351

please help to me! This plug-in can be normal operation, The tramcar first on the sheep, after the sit the tramcar is not able to travel. I can see tramcar behind to gas smoke. The config set is Default Values. the error is Completely do not understand. (*My server use 1.4.6,but change to 1.4.7, it is no correction.) please help me!

Hey guys! I found a fix to make this plugin work. Well it was sort of random. I reloaded my server with /reload and the cars started working! But it only works sometimes. By that i mean 75% of the time. Hope i helped :)

Thank you for this info. Maybe now people are able to understand it better.
I bet annoying people will still keep screaming " UPDATE! " without actually reading the posts that were posted earlier.

I do hope it will still be possible, it was a great and fast way to travel around the map :(.

Whats taking so long? I can answer that question for you. Each new release of Bukkit they purposefully make it more difficult for us developers to access and use the deep internals of CraftBukkit (the stuff that makes the more advanced plugins possible). Each new update we al scramble around trying to figure out new exploits to bypass the blocks they have put into place.

Now, this plugin is more specific. The entire minecart physics engine has been rewritten from the ground up recently, which is why all "cars" type plugins have broke. The exploit these developers relied on to make the carts move is no longer there. They are scrambling around trying to figure out a different way to make them move. Thats whats taking so long.

I, for one, don't believe this plugin (or any other "cars" type) will ever be possible because of whats all been done to the original code. I have a really good feeling that my NPC plugin (and other NPC plugins) will seen get the axe as well, as our stuff is becoming increasingly difficult to get working as well.

All of the cars plugins are broken right now and none of the authors knows why. They've all been broken for the past 6-8 weeks at least.
