Mending Enchantment

Want to have the Mending enchantment from 1.9, but don't like the new combat mechanics? Then this plugin is for you!

Mending Enchantment? What is this?

The Mending enchantment was a new enchantment that is in 1.9. The enchantment uses EXP that the player picks up to increase your items durability. Hence, mending. You can get the enchantment simply by using the default Minecraft enchanting. However, you need to be at least level 30, and use the 3rd tier enchantment level.

Sweet, Free Repairing! But how does it work?

In all seriousness, yes, this is free repairing! A fast an easy way to really repair would be to use this enchantment at one of your XP Farms that you're bound to have in a survival world. For every amount of XP you pick up, your item is repaired by twice that amount! So if you gain 10 XP from killing a mob, you'll get 20 more durability on your weapon! Awesome, right?!

KNOWN ISSUES

Since this plugin was first released, there are bound to be plenty of bugs. The main one that currently needs addressing is the deal with anvil repairing. Anvil repairing will remove your enchantment, and combining items in anvils will also cause your item to lose the enchantment.

To-Do

• MAJOR TWEAKING. I have a feeling that 2x the amount is too much. Will see how community reacts. (2x is in-fact the correct ratio)
• Make EXP distributable randomly throughout all armour and the item in hand (aka as close to actual as possible)
• Address issues when combining or repairing items through anvils
• Allow enchantment to be put on books
• More testing? Make sure system works well
