    What steps will reproduce the problem?
    1.server startup/restart or plugin reload

    What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
    normal load and startup

    What version of the product are you using?
    mailbox 2.5 bukkit 1.2.3 #2098

    Do you have an error log of what happened?

    2012-03-28 15:21:36 [INFO] [MailBox]: Can't find out information about newest plugin version.

    Note the time from start to finish the plugin stalls the server reboot process by just over a minute as it tries to
    reach a firewalled internet

    Please provide any additional information below.
    Provide means of turning update check off to stop excessive timeout delay enforced on server due to this
