About LyTreeHelper
LyTreeHelper is a craftbukkit plugin which helps to handle trees on craftbukkit servers very easy. LyTreeHelper comes with a powerful set of functions and features, for example the powerful tree or forest generator, the highly configurable drops system and the MCEdit schematic world population tools.
LyTreeHelper Features
- Custom drop features - LyTreeHelper lets you add custom drops to leaves, for timed drops too (Maybe, sticks? :) )
- Full customizable drop system - Adjust the drop chances for each drop (apples, golden apples, leaves, saplings, ...)
- Timed drops - Apples falling from trees? Yes, you can have this feature ;)
- Easy to handle multiworld-support - Each world has it's own configuration file, which settings overrides the global settings, so you can setup LyTreeHelper for each world with your custom settings
- Tree destruction - Cut that damn trees by destroying the ground connection
- Powerful forest and tree generator - LyTreeHelper comes with a powerful great generator for forests and trees, you can generate every kind of tree or forest in minecraft
- Full permission support - You can use each permission system which is supported by Vault (http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/vault/)
- Full economy support - You can use any economy system supported by Vault (http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/vault/), so let your members pay for destructing trees at one hit
- Custom world populator - LyTreeHelper's powerful world populator uses MCEdit schematic files to populate your world(s) with custom trees, e.g. palms, only in specific biomes (e.g. palms on beaches) (Under Development)
- Mob Spawn in trees after destruction - Harvesting whole trees by removing the ground connection is great, but too easy? Let creatures spawn inside the chopped tree
Is LyTreeHelper missing that little something that you need?
Ask! Or better yet, go to the Github tracker and tell me your great ideas or fork the project and add your feature! You can of course do this without consulting me, but I cannot accept pull requests that will break LyTreeHelper!

Hi,
at first, I have no idea, why that errors are coming up. Do you have other plugins installed? Can you send me your Craftbukkit version/build, your LyTreeHelper config, a list of all your plugins (maybe with versions if possible) and a list of your server mods (if you have some)? And maybe, delete/rename the server.log file and restart the server, so you have a fresh one and send me this file too?
Edit: I figured out what causes this error. It's Minecraft Forge, so if you use mods which depend on Forge, or simply only Forge, you should remove those, if you want to run LyTreeHelper If you don't use Forge, it would be nice, if you could send me the requested informations. Thanks
Hi,
I've set is so full-destruction tools are specified tools and not all tools, I've also not set any permissions because there are none at all (my friends and I play on private servers), but I'm getting this error when I'm cutting down the ground connection (or the lowest block) =/ I can't really tell what's going on there, something about world manager or error handling packets? (I have no admin-ing plugins)
http://pastebin.com/Mp0mQR5a
ps. all the configs are otherwise as default
@1101001
You have to destroy the ground connection, so leaves next to dirt/grass won't work
I think I should add an option to ignore all blocks
Tree destruction doesn't work... I destroy the bottom and nothing happens.
@Hiramas
The old versions of LyTreeHelper had support for .bo2 files, I switched to .schematic because server admins can create their own trees using worldedit on the same server I can try to port the .bo2 support to LyTreeHelper 3, it shouldn't be that much work.
I'm developing LyTreeHelper each free hour that I can find, I hope it will be ready before Minecraft 1.3. I can not say, whether it's a bug or not, if you can post your configuration with pastebin, I can take a look into it.
@SmashboxGaming
If WorldGuard cancels the event before LyTreeHelper, then it will ignore it, so I think it's compatible.
I asked this on the bukkit forums, but will try it again here: Could you implement the possibility to use .bo2's too? Massive Craft has a massive (sry) amount of .bo2 trees for the Terrain Control plugin which would fit perfectly here! http://massivecraft.com/plugins/terraincontrol
Anyway, keep it up! Hope the rewrite will be ready soon! The beta version doesn't seem to work properly, but maybe I am overlooking something. (The trees drop leave blocks now, but i still have to harvest the complete wood block by block)
so are schematic files loaded for this mod and randomly placed on newly generated terrain. that could be probably used for even more than just trees, like dungeons and other structures. would definitely be useful since worldfeatures has stopped being developed
@DarkLiKally
Worldguard leaf-decay flag support?
@koffeina69
I will take a look into it, thanks for reporting.
Edit: I've fixed it and uploaded a new dev build. Or use this direct link (from Github).
Hello there again
Juest update the plugin on server and sadly there is new error with java exception:
http://pastebin.com/w5CVF2kk
@fuzyfeet
No problem, have fun with that feature.
@DarkLiKally
You are fast, thanks for adding the timed drops for custom items.
@koffeina69
I've checked it, it's because you aren't using an economy plugin. I only check for the Vault economy api to enable LyTreeHelper.. I see that was a mistake, I will fix it in an hour and upload a new dev build which should work.
You can find dev builds here.
Edit: I've uploaded the fixed version, You can download them from the github link above or wait for approval on BukkitDev
Hello there I've got a problem with installing ur plugin
Here is the log from server console: http://pastebin.com/a5VHzYsd
Error is the same with vault enabled and disabled
@xH3LLRAIZ3Rx
Normally you should put them in the `plugins/LyTreeHelper/schematics` directory, but they're not used in this alpha version of LyTreeHelper 3. The standard schematics will be installed automatically with LyTreeHelper in future versions
~ Maybe they will be used in the beta version of 3.0 ;)
Were do i put the schematics?
@xeNiumw0w
And I've brought many many new features and improvements to LyTreeHelper. :)
Well, He is back again.
