    I changed some of the text you see displayed, specifically the 'Pick-needed' to "It's locked!", and I was suddenly unable to craft or activate any locks of any kind. I don't remember seeing any errors in the console.

    Same here. Can't craft any locks. Crafting a lockpick works, but without any renamed displayname (still in english).
