What is LootChest?
LootChest is a plugin similar to Borderlands 2 chest in sanctuary. This plugin allows players to gain keys (dropped by mobs or given with a cmd). And use said keys to open the corresponding chest.
LootChest can either give items (specified in a config) or it can run commands. (UseCommands = true/false in config).
Chest Types
There are four types of chests that can be configured to your liking:
- Common
- Normal
- Rare
- Legendary
Permissions
- LootChest.Create - Allows the /lootchest create command
- LootChest.Give - Allows the /lootchest give command
Commands
- /lootchest create <Common/Normal/Rare/Legendary> - This will create a LootChest at the next punched chest.
- /lootchest give <playername> <Common/Normal/Rare/Legendary> <amount> - This will give the player the type and amount of keys specified.
- /lootchest info - Basic information about the plugin.
Dependencies (You need these or the plugin wont work)
- HoloApi Download it here.
How to create a LootChest
- Place a chest
- Type /lootchest create <Common/Normal/Rare/Legendary>
- Punch the chest and it will create a LootChest.
Installation
- Place LootChest.jar & HoloApi into your plugins folder
- Reload/Restart your server.
- Enjoy the plugin.

Posted Mar 19, 2016Hi there. For some reason when players use the key on the chest it is giving them items from my essentials kits not the items listed in the item config file?

Posted Mar 17, 2016I noticed under your item config example you have damage-undead and arrow-fire, I did not see these as enchantment types on the minecraft wiki site. Is there some other list available so I can create more of these types of items? Thank you :D

Thats the cratesplus plugin, i have it on my server and it works well, except it doesn't allow for chances.

they are using a plugin called crate keys its on spigot but you need to buy it.

Posted Nov 6, 2014Hello. I would Really love this plugin for my server. I went on pvp.vcfactions.com and I was wondering what this Crate plugin is. Left click to view the loot Right click with a key to open it. If i Right clicked with no key it said [CrateKey] You need a Hero key to open this crate! Can you please release that plugin? This plugin doesn't work. Or please update. -SlipShock

Posted Sep 7, 2014When I get a key and left click the lootchest, I dont get anything from it. I have the right key. I have a Common Key, and I go and Left click the Common chest and nothing comes out.

Posted Aug 12, 2014Theres no message when you make a chest so you cant tell if the chest has worked. please add these things or think about adding them - a message when you have made the chest work with the keys - right click the chest with the key to get the rewards - make it so you look at the chest and run the command to turn it into a common chest ect. - make it so you can make a chest in creative - add a /lootchest reload - beable to change the name of the chests/ keys - /lootchest remove - make the hologram above the chest and not to the side - make it so you dont need the hologram plugin
I really wont to use this plugin but its not working the way i wish it would work and so far its awesome, it just needs some things adding and it would be the best rewards chest plugin ever XD <3<3<3<3<3<3
