Longer Day

Table of Contents

Don't like nights but don't want to have constant day either?
With this plugin you can have multiple days in a row !
Easy to set up, default settings should be fine for most people.

Features

Loop days for a configurable amount of times
Only active in the configured worlds
Multiple world support

Config===

Warning, the config changed in 0.3, you will have to delete your old config.

world: 3 # day is looped 3 times in "world"
otherworld: 2

Ah, that's cool actually. I just made this plugin because there wasn't any other one that was up to date and fit my needs. Seeing that this plugin is very basic I'd suggest people visiting this page also take a look at TimeFold.

Using Multiverse core 2.5-b665.

Capital letters matches MV settings. But i tried all caps, all non caps - same thing :/

And if you could please implement /plugin reload command, its really needed :)

im using LongerDay v0.4 on git-Bukkit-1.5.2-R0.1-b2771jnks (MC: 1.5.2) with worlds

08:14:59 [INFO] LongerDay 0.4 : config file loaded
08:14:59 [INFO] LongerDay 0.4 : Error in config, could not find world Creative.
08:14:59 [INFO] LongerDay 0.4 : Error in config, could not find world Yugoslavia.

Now question is, why this plugin cant find worlds??

I'm not sure if it'll work though because it hasn't been updated in a while.

Yes, it seems to not be working correctly with 1.4.2 update... although there are a lot of bugs in 1.4.2 that are expected to be fixed in 1.4.3 in the next couple of days. Might be that this problem goes away when that happens.

Yes, because the plugin has no way to distinguish natural time changes from plugins changing time. You'll have to do /time night again till longerday runs out of day loops. Maybe I'll code in a fix for that some day but on my server the /time night command is rarely used.

Probably not since it would require a rewrite of the plugin. Right now it's very small, simple and lightweight code that will only work for this specific use case.

I'm guessing you didn't delete your old config or maybe deleted it while the server was up and it remade it when shutting down. just add a [worldname]: [number] line to the config for each world

Hello,

many many thnx to adding support for multiple worlds. Im bit confused; can you please explain how to add lines in cfg file. NEW version generated this: -------- Day multiplier: 3 World name: Jugoslavia -------- Now, what exactly to do to set world named "Creative" to have day forever? And world named "World3" to have 2 times day long and night to stay same.

I have 3 worlds thou :)

Can you please add to plugin to create generic cfg with examples for multiworld, day, night settings but with # as non command char?

Explanation in plugin thread is clear, but im confused because plugin generates cfg which seems kinda same as old one:/

Multiworld support is in version 0.3 (new config layout !) and it should work fine with 1.3.1.
