Never mind. You took your sweet time so I already coded my own plugin >:-E

As far as I know the difference between Craftbukkit and Spigot is that Spigot contains only some optimizations in processor user, mememory, etc. Spigot uses CraftBukkit code base.

I could be wrong but I don't think it should have any effect on this. But thank you for testing out possibilities.

Also do you think it would be possible to do this: when someone using Lifesteal hits another player his food increases and the other player loses life the same amount that the Lifestealing player gains food. It would be sweet. I have these "cursed" players on my server (it's a punishment for hackers, griefers, etc) and the only thing they can do is PVP other players and use weapons and armors. They can't open doors, chests and even eat so they will eventually die of hunger if they are not hunted down. But it would be totally sweet if they could "eat other people" and it would be the only way for them to gain food.

As far as I understand - since I couldn't yet get this plugin to work on my server - it is not possible at the moment to cross-steal from life bar -> to food bar or the other way around.

Also it would be extra cool if you could configure the behaviour (and the on/off state) by using permissions. Example: "- lifesteal.steallifegainfood", "- lifesteal.stealbothgainboth" etc.

Nice idea for a plugin but unfortunately this is completely and utterly broken. Sometimes it works with hunger. Never works with life. Sometimes you loose hunger when you hit people. Always displays messages with "stole 0" when in fact you gain food. No error messages.

Just a little spelling correction - the past tense of steal is stole, not stealed.
