Life dupe glitch #2

    What steps will reproduce the problem?
    1. /lifemc give {yourself} (any amount)
    2. your lives increase by that amount
    3.

    What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
    I would expect not to be able to give yourself lives at all

    What version of the product are you using?
    2.0

    Do you have an error log of what happened?
    no

    This command is originally designed to subtract the specified amount of lives from the command executor's life storage and add it to that of the specified player. Therefore when executed on yourself, your lives should not change at all.. Are you saying that you gain the amount of specified lives?

    So, what happens when you give yourself the lives? Will you have more afterwards, less, or equal amount?

    yes it is pretty much free infinite lives, a player brought this to me, and i tried it on myself. give yourself 2 they go up by 2.

    ok so i downloaded the source to figure this out and notice this glitch has been fixed by staartvin april 22nd, but the download release here is from march, so the public one is still affected. I compiled the source and players are now prevented from giving themselves lives. Might want to push this out to the public.

    Ah, that could be the problem whoops.. I was confused why it didn't work because the code on github looks correct. I'll create a new build today.
