configuration/Permissions
Permissions
The name of every permission is configurable in config.yml. Use the config file of your server as reference for which permission to grant players.
| Permission id | Description |
|---|---|
| lvlhearts.maxhealth.changeable | Allows the maximum health to be changed by LevelHearts. When disabled, LevelHearts will not modify any maximum health values (except when loading and unloading players). |
| lvlhearts.maxhealth.increaseOnLevelUp | Changes the maximum health on level up. |
| lvlhearts.maxhealth.bypassLimit | Ignores the maximum health limit set in the config file for users granted this permission. |
| lvlhearts.reset.bypassLogin | Players' maximum health with this permission will not be reset on login even if enabled in the config file. |
| lvlhearts.reset.bypassDeath | Players' maximum health with this permission will not be reset on death even if enabled in the config file. |
| health.changeable | Allows the normal health to be changed by LevelHearts. When disabled, LevelHearts will not modify any health values. |
| health.restore | All players with this permission will have their health set its maximum when their maximum health increases. If enabled in the config file, every player will be granted this permission by default. |
| health.commands... | Allows the usage of certain commands. |

Posted Oct 16, 2017The plugin seems to be completely disregarding the fact that I've negated some of the permissions.
For a specific group in PEX I've listed '*' at the end of its permissions. Despite having negated the death reset bypass permission node, it will listen to the '*' at the end and allow the permission, not resetting health upon death. This needs to be fixed, as it's annoying for an owner position to always have advantages like this over the players. This doesn't seem like a PEX issue, since PEX is supposed to follow the nodes from top to bottom and all other negated nodes work perfectly fine. This goes for all permission nodes of LevelHearts.

Posted May 5, 2020Could someone PLEASE help me!
My son and I are trying to get a bukkit server set up with this plugin. We really like it and have it set up, but this plugin is *only* working with the following permissions:
lvlhearts.*
I've tried setting the default user permissions as the following:
health.changeable
health.restore
lvlhearts.maxhealth.changeable
lvlhearts.maxhealth.increaseOnLevelUp
However, nothing works unless the wildcard is added. Which obviously is not an ideal scenario. What could we be doing wrong?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
UPDATE:
We just figured it out, the permissions listed are case sensitive, the following below will work as intended:
lvlhearts.maxhealth.changeable
lvlhearts.maxhealth.increaselevelup
lvlhearts.maxhealth.limit.bypass
lvlhearts.maxhealth.reset.login.bypass
lvlhearts.maxhealth.reset.death.bypass
lvlhearts.health.changeable
lvlhearts.health.restore
