What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Log out of the server while wearing the helmet.
2. Log back in.
3. Go underwater without changing the armor arrangement.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the night vision function of the helmet to work like it should, allowing me to see clearly underwater. However, instead of that, I simply see white everywhere, with only the faint outlines of blocks that are directly in front of me visible.

Please provide any additional information below.
If I remove the helmet and put it back on, then the night vision function works as it should. However, as soon as I log out, the night vision function returns to its original glitchy state.
