Leashed Players
Leashed Players
Walkin' my Minecraftian...
Description
Right-click players with a leash to leash them! May get a bit of lag if a lot of players are constantly leashing each other, because I have to check every player on the server and see if they are being looked at.
Usage
To leash players and have them follow you around! To leash players you walk up to them and right click them while holding a lead.
Commands, Permissions, and Configuration?
There are no commands, but I may add permissions and configuration in future versions.
Can it do anything else?
Why yes! Yes it can!
- Mobs or Players holing a leash that attack you leash you.
- Shift+Right-Click allows something somewhat like WorldEdit. Except it's more like LeashEdit.
Why does it say something about MooLib?
It needs MooLib to run, I got a bit lazy with my onEnable. You can find MooLib here.
Seriously? This is the end?
This plugin isn't complex enough to have a longer structure.
Donate
Still no donate button? I'm disappointing...
I highly appreciate your attempt, but... RTFM, man. Bukkit docs explicitly state: "...This method has no effect on EnderDragons, Withers, Players, or Bats. [...]". Player is a subinterface of LivingEntity FYI.
I downloaded the mod, it didn't work properly, so I've decided to decompile it and see what could be up (I was running it on a Cauldron server, so I thought the problem might have been in your plugin conflicting with Cauldron or mods). What did I see?
This shouldn't work on any kind of Bukkit server, because Minecraft core does not support this feature.
I'd rather try doing something like "when we leash a player, we simply remember it for later use; then, if the player or the 'leash' holder start moving, we simply check the distance and teleport the leashed a bit to the holder if he's to far away".
@NinjarakuPwnz
Your right. I should do that. These next 3 months I may not have much time on my hands though... What else do you think I should add?
there a way to toggle this for when a player becomes AFK their vulnerable to being leashed? i'd completely implement this lol.
