In the next release, I'm going to set it so any block can be a cannon, but have a block that disables the cannon. So, you can use any material, bar one, for cannons. That one material will deactivate the cannon without needing to delete the sign. I plan on it being iron at first, but then having a config file to disable said cannon. On the topic of landing pads, I'll introduce a config file to change the landing pad required material, or go for the all-materials-bar-one approach again. What do you think?
Is there any way to configure what the landing block could be? Gold blocks are pricey and it would be awesome to use a pumpkin or other configurable block. Maybe a specific color wool?
I'll take a look at that immediately, thanks!
EDIT: New version, 1.3.4, released, should fix all the bugs people were having.
