This plugin adds the ability to create portal structures that link to each other based on the contents of a chest. There are two types of portals: default and global. Default portals will link from portal A to portal B and vice-versa. Global portals act as a central node for teleportation and can eliminate the need for /home and /spawn commands.
In order to use economy and/or permissions, you need vault and both a vault compatible economy (e.g. iConomy) and permissions system.

Would be nice to see an update, as this plugin has started making trouble.
Please update 1.6
Yes, Silverware, testify! The lapis portal is great to use, and so sad that it doesn't work on the 1.6. I am thinking that i like lapis portals better than horsies.
That would be like saying a new texture pack breaks a plugin. From what the error says, I can only assume that it's because of a new file system implemented in 1.6 behind the scenes.
Probably broken because lapis got re-textured
It would be great if you update this mod for 1.6. This mod is great for survival, I allow my players to build them and having them not function currently is jarring.
Here is the message I get:

I used to use this plugin or my old server. I'm going to try it out again with my new one :D
I am going to try this out it looks easy
I love this plugin, works great. I'm not sure if you are still adding features to the plugin, but perhaps if possible you can add into the config a way to restrict which worlds players are allowed to build functioning portals in?
update I loved this plugin
Sadly this plugin is not working anymore for me

so, if we rename the lapisportal.jar to zlapisportal.jar, it will load as the last, worth a try.
Working great with 1.5.1!
Yes this still works with 1.5
Will this work in 1.5?
yeah, that would definitely cause a problem. I don't softdepend "My Worlds" yet, thus the worlds are loading after LapisPortals.
BTW I found a workaround. I am using PluginManager to - after the server has fully started - unload Lapisportals completely and then reload it manually. It seems that when you have all the worlds loaded before the lapisportals startup then youre good.
Normally Lapisportals would load up before the multi-world plugin has loaded up all the different worlds that also include some portals.
@fetusdip 'Tis up, the webserver was just down, sorry.
the link does not seem to work. try using pastebin.
Great plugin, def. useful for both creative and survival worlds.
I was wondering if you could help me with this weird error message I encounter when using your plugin on the newest craftbukkit rec. build or the newer dev. builds.
When starting up the server, LapisPortals loads up fine without any errors. But whenever any player destroys or places a block the server console fires out over 22 errors per break/place. This drains down the server prerformance pretty heavy and also makes the console almost unreadable. BUT after resetting all portals by breaking their door, resetting the door, thereby resetting the portal and doing that with all portals makes the errors vanish. Basically I have to delete all the doors and replace them after server restart every time. Before I replace the portaldoors - resetting the portals - they wont work and any place or break of any blocks by any player would causes these errors.
Here - I will link you a log file with the server starting up and a few errors when placing/breaking blocks. Then you can also see all the plugins I am using as well on the startup log. Maybe it collides with one, or maybe the LapisPortals plugin should be loaded last AFTER the multiworld plugin has loaded the additional worlds which the portals are in. Those are just my immediate ideas. This log is from a devbuild, but this error shows up the same in the latest recom. build as well.
Thank you for you help in advance.
