LampControl
Easily control your redstone lamps or rails.
What is LampControl?
LampControl allows you to control your redstone lamps or rails by clicking on it. You don't need redstone to power anything!
This plugin is lightweight and does not use any files or anything like that. That super Java Reflection says that this one is compatible with whole bunch of versions! Performance is faster, new WorldEdit 7.0 is supported and much more features are coming! Awesome, right?
How it works?
Well, if you are OP or you have permissions for lampcontrol.use, you can easily turn your lamps on with just right click. You can also use WorldEdit with commands /lampon (alias /onlamp) or /lampoff (alias /offlamp).
Config file
language: en -> default is en, you can make your own if you want
debug: false
=== Permissions ===
- lampcontrol.command.on - Allows using "/lampcontrol on" command
- lampcontrol.command.off - Allows using "/lampcontrol off" command
- lampcontrol.rightclick - Allows changing states of powerable or lightable blocks with right click on them

Ok NOW it's updated and fixed. :)
@ChengZi368
Oh It's the updated one, but I just noticed that I forgot to update the plugin.yml! It should work though.
@jacklink01
Dude you uploaded the wrong file :(

@killertunes
Sorry I've been super busy! I should get a chance to update it either Thursday or this weekend. Stay tuned!
Yes. Please update to 1.8.3. I cannot live without this awesome plugin.
Hi. Could you maybe update this to 1.8.3? It would be appreciated :)
When players have the permission lampcontrol.hand they can turn on the lamps but when they try and turn them off they get a notification saying '[LampControl] You do not have permission to build here!' even though it is their region.
Hi, I like your plugin (and my builder team greater). I had a strange issue, I put this in the config "takeItemOnUse: true" then I tried with flint and steel and the item completely disappeared. So I tought "OK, let's try with flint then". And then the item disappeared... the whole stack disappeared XD. Any idea? ^^
Just as others suggested, is it possible to add the day/night feature? It would complete this plugin.
@GlowTimeHD
I know I'm using it too and it works pretty well. But it still has an annoying bug where the lamps won't refresh on chunk loading. Example: Make some lamps, leave the area during the day (far enough for chunks to unload), come back during the night, the lamps stay off. But sometimes they do refresh when you go near them.
@EarlyReflex
I know the Plugin NightLamps. I use it. A user has fixed the problem with the pistons. You have to PN him if you want to have the fixed plugin. His name is Mooticus on Spigot.
@jacklink01
That's a good point. Would it be possible to store that information into the block data itself? The world files would take care of saving the data and all. The plugin would only have to look for these blocks with special data tags. That could be a way.
Another way would be to make the option toggleable. The plugin would only save lamp data when the option is on. That's not much data (world, x, y, z).
Or make it another plugin! :D
@EarlyReflex
I really like the idea and would like to implement it, but one of the best things about LampControl is that it does not store any data about the lamps so it is lightweight and works very reliably. If I were to implement this, I would have to store data for the plugin to know which lamps need turned on. Unless anyone has some suggestions?
I 2nd TomXPro and GlowTimeHD for that feature... StreetLights, qStreetLights, StreetLights Reloaded and CityLanterns simply don't work in Spigot 1.8. NightLamps works just fine, but has a nasty bug that prevents placing pistons... That makes it unuseable, and the author seems to have abandoned it.
That would be a very welcome feature!
@Si7VdeR
You need to be using version 2.5.2. Version 2.5.3 is only for the real Spigot 1.8. Sorry I don't currently provide backwards compatibility.
Lamp Control isn't compatible with this version ... I am using Spigot 1.7.10 + Protocol Hack to make it 1.8 Whhyyyy ?
@TomXPro
Year that would be great! When this feature is added I will use it.
At this moment I'm using StreetlightsReloaded. It's not up to date but yours is. So think about it.
PS: Sorry for bad English I'm from Germany :)
