Installation Instructions
Installing KoolSource Forum Bridge may seem a little complicated, but I assure you it's quite easy.
Web Server
- Choose the Web Module that matches the software you are planning to use. Ex. If you are using PHPbb3 choose "Web Module - PHPbb 3.0.10" from the downloads page.
- Unzip the file you have downloaded
- Choose whether you want to use the forum username or a forum profile field to store the Minecraft username.
- Open the file you have chosen and fill in the appropriate configuration settings under the "Configuration Section"
- Save and upload the file along with the "libs" folder to a web accessible directory on your web server.
- Done!
Minecraft Server
- Download the latest jar file from the downloads page.
- Upload the downloaded jar to your "plugins" folder
- Start/restart/reload your Minecraft server
- Edit the configuration file under plugins/KoolSource Forum Bridge/config.yml making sure your passcode matches the one specified in your Web Module, and the URL is the location of your Web Module.
- Done!
