On the left hand side of the inventory is the play field. The arrows (hopper, carrot, flint, arrow on the borders) can be used to push the wool items to the different sides of the inventory.
On the right hand side of the inventory is the score display. The current score on the image is 2326. (Eggs are used to represent 0s)

Well instead of showing the item amount you can show different colors for the tiles and on the side it shows a guide for witch colors of wool represents the number of the tile
Thanks for noticing my small adaption ;) I know 2048 works with ascending powers of 2.
But how would you represent 2048 in a minecraft inventory? :D
(Btw: I think that 64 is pretty impossible to reach like this. ^^)
That aint how 2048 works... You go from 1 > 2 > 4 > 8 > 16 > 32 > 64 > 128 > ect.. not 1>2>3>4>5>6>7>8 ect...
