What is it?
This plugin adds SkyBlock to your Bukkit Minecraft server.
How do I use it?
Put the .jar file in your plugins folder. Run your server.
More information
Players use /SKY to start an island (or warp there if exists already). They are given a minimal starting kit to survive and thrive! They can add friends to their island with /sky addmember. Inventories are managed between worlds (world "skyblock" generated on 1st use).
The theme is simplicity. There aren't a lot of options to configure (like island size, starting kit, look of the island, etc). But the nice thing is you don't have to do anything as server administrator to get skyblock added to your server!

Posted Jan 18, 2014Um, am I missing something? There is no .jar in either of the zip files you have to the right. All I get is a folder that is called JoeSkyBlock, and inside that folder are a folder called JoePkg and a folder called META-INF and then plugin.yml. Inside the folder called JoePkg there is a folder called SkyBlock which is full of .class files, and inside the META-INF folder is just the MANIFEST.MF.
No .jar anywhere. So am I dense or is there really no .jar included in the zip files?

also if i'm in on my island and have some stuff in my inventory and go back to normal world and later back to skyblock the inventory is empty and stuff is gone

Posted Jan 17, 2014Sorry for all the questions lmao, So if in the current version someone deletes their island and doesn't remake one, does the space get re-used when a new player creates an island? or will that space where the old island was never get used again?

On your other questions, Yes to island protection (each player can only modify their island; unless added as a member to another one with /sky addmember). Great idea on option to disable inventory swapping. I'll have to add that to my pending feature list for next version.

Edit: Also (might be a silly question lmao) are the islands protected from other players, and have a limit on how far the player can build out?
Edit2: I use Multiinv because of some other games I have running in different worlds on my server, do you think this would interfere with the seperate inventories you already set up? And if it does could we have an option to disable the seperate inventorys option in this plugin?

Yes. Thanks for your suggestion. This has been my intention and I do save the date it is claimed with the intention this will be added soon. Look for this in next version with a default of '30 days offline' but configurable in the config file.

Posted Jan 14, 2014Could we have an option for there to be a purging of inactive islands every X amount of days. And after the islands are purged, the space where that island was could be re-used by another player creating his own new island?
Typically every plugin i've had experience with has not re-used the space of purged islands, letting the map size getting very very large which isn't ideal as it will eventually require a Map reset because of the filesize getting too large :(

With v1.0.3 and prior there are no permissions to configure. Per request though I'm looking at adding a configurable option to enable permission checks. That way the original "it just works" concept still applies but those wanting a little more control can tweak things.

Posted Jan 13, 2014Love this plugin, so simple. Just one suggestion though, players that fall off can do /sky and get teleported, avoiding death. Maybe you can add something to avoid that?

I'll check on this. With the original version v1.0.0 player were always taken to spawn of "world". However with latest it attempts to take you back to where you ran /sky. I'll check if I can reproduce what you describe though.

Posted Jan 11, 2014When a user deletes their skyblock while they are still on it, it automatically teleports them to a random world (in my case, the world name is called factions). How can I force them to go to a different world when its deleted?
