jCommands is developed by Jozeth and is a lightweight plugin which currently has more than 50 commands such as /day to /boom, you can manage a small server off of this plugin.
Once you've installed the .jar on to your server and started it, a 'players' folder will be created, ready for player configs.
Quote:This plugin utilizes an external version checking system, which means that the plugin makes a connection to curseforge.com and the following may occur:
- The plugins version checked against approved files
- Downloading of the plugin files
- Launching of the plugin files downloaded
You can disable the check and/or automated download via the configuration of this plugin.
Find the commands and permissions here!
Works with PermissionsEx and PermissionsBukkit or another permissions plugin which hooks into Bukkit's native permissions.
In jCommands there are two statistic trackers (MCStats.org). My stats tracker currently only picks up start ups (whenever you reload or start your server a counter goes up by one). These features can be disabled in the config.
- Added /time
- Added /getnames [player]
- Name changes are in each player's config
- Online staff (jcommands.moderators & jcommands.admins) are alerted when a player joins with a different name to last time
- /getnames works in the console
- Fixed typos and some permissions in the plugin.yml
- Changed command aliases from, "jc" to "jc_"
- Removed Warp features and added them to 'jCommands Warps' - http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/jcommands-warps/
- Release of jCommands' first add-on, jCommands Warps
- Removed logging of commands
- Changed namespace
- Removed /savedata
Version 2.0.1
- Updated to CB 1.7.9-R0.2
- You can now import your warps from jWarp - This will overwrite any warps with the same name
- Added /importwarps
- Added /getuuid <player>
- /getuuid & /importwarps work in the console
Version 2.0.1b
- Updated to CB 1.7.9-R0.1 and can run on CB 1.7.9-R0.2
- Removed an unused class
- A player's name within their own config will change if that player changes their name
- Fixed a bug when converting a player's config when joining
- Fixed the 'IOException error' in v2.0.1a
- Fixed a bug in /ban

0o Why would you use NMS, you do know Bukkit doesn't support that and that your plugin is gonna break every single minecraft update and all compatibility fix will not work with each single older craftbukkit version right?
I could give a full list of plugins...
@oliver276
I will look into it straight away.

please add the commands.yml! I need it really bad!
@oliver276
They're older than the current one (v1.1.7). If you sent over the information I asked for before, then I can help...
@Jozeth
When I updated to your alpha build, it seemed to work.
@oliver276
I've just used v1.1.7 on my server (running 1.4.6-R0.1). What build of Bukkit are you using and send over your server log via pastebin...
I keep getting errors when I try to enable jCommands. It mentions "Error while trying to enable jCommands (is it up-to-date)" I am using the latest build.
Download v1.1.7 here: http://www.dl.jozethdev.com/jcommands/bukkit/v1-1-7
I find it quite irritating that we cannot edit the MOTD.
Reasons why:
1: I honestly do not mind it broadcasting that i am using an amazing plugin named jCaommdns, HOWEVER, who cares to read the build number, and what if i want to change they way it's phrased?
2: You already have a MOTD system implemented, why not allow us to add more text, so we do not have to implement another plugin, when there is no need.
3: I'm not the only person feeling this way.
Now, i'm sure you dislike reading complaints, i'm sorry to have complained. However i am indeed using this plugin for my server, and i would like to say a big thank you for this plugin, regardless of if we can edit the MOTD i'm still going to be using this.
Have a good day/night.
when is the disabling of certain commands by commands.yml is going to be implemented?
i don't get it and can you make it work for 1.4.5 plz
It's been updated to 1.4.6 now, but keep a look out for dev builds... http://www.blog.jozethdev.com/category/jcommands/
Having a problem with teleportation commands with 1.6 and 1.7b on bukkit 1.4.5-R0.2.
Under certain circumstances they will cause people to get spawned in the ceiling/floor. For example, if I set the spawn/home point to the block I'm looking at (http://i.imgur.com/FkjCv.png) and then do /spawn or /home it'll spawn me on top of the chest with my head in the ceiling, which causes me to either break the block if I can or suffocate.
@Jozeth
Ok, just wanted to tell you that this happens. ;)
@Dr_Bunsen
I am currently debugging the command and will be releasing v1.1.7b in the following days (by Friday hopefully), follow http://twitter.com/JozethDev as I post updates there and bugs, etc...
The plugin is saying that I set my home in another world, so I checked the files, nothing wrong, the world: online_world
After I use /sethome, I can teleport to it. config files: online_world
What sorcery is this? and every time I restart the server I have to reset my home?
I am using the newest dev build: CraftBukkit 1.4.5-R0.2 I just switched back to the old 1.4.5-R0.1
@juanonchas
You can't change it.
How do i change the Join Message? :)
