jCommands is developed by Jozeth and is a lightweight plugin which currently has more than 50 commands such as /day to /boom, you can manage a small server off of this plugin.
Once you've installed the .jar on to your server and started it, a 'players' folder will be created, ready for player configs.
Quote:This plugin utilizes an external version checking system, which means that the plugin makes a connection to curseforge.com and the following may occur:
- The plugins version checked against approved files
- Downloading of the plugin files
- Launching of the plugin files downloaded
You can disable the check and/or automated download via the configuration of this plugin.
Find the commands and permissions here!
Works with PermissionsEx and PermissionsBukkit or another permissions plugin which hooks into Bukkit's native permissions.
In jCommands there are two statistic trackers (MCStats.org). My stats tracker currently only picks up start ups (whenever you reload or start your server a counter goes up by one). These features can be disabled in the config.
- Added /time
- Added /getnames [player]
- Name changes are in each player's config
- Online staff (jcommands.moderators & jcommands.admins) are alerted when a player joins with a different name to last time
- /getnames works in the console
- Fixed typos and some permissions in the plugin.yml
- Changed command aliases from, "jc" to "jc_"
- Removed Warp features and added them to 'jCommands Warps' - http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/jcommands-warps/
- Release of jCommands' first add-on, jCommands Warps
- Removed logging of commands
- Changed namespace
- Removed /savedata
Version 2.0.1
- Updated to CB 1.7.9-R0.2
- You can now import your warps from jWarp - This will overwrite any warps with the same name
- Added /importwarps
- Added /getuuid <player>
- /getuuid & /importwarps work in the console
Version 2.0.1b
- Updated to CB 1.7.9-R0.1 and can run on CB 1.7.9-R0.2
- Removed an unused class
- A player's name within their own config will change if that player changes their name
- Fixed a bug when converting a player's config when joining
- Fixed the 'IOException error' in v2.0.1a
- Fixed a bug in /ban

The preview is for the next version, also the temp ban/mute will be near enough useless because if you reload/restart your server the timer will stop and they will never be unbanned...
@Jozeth
I dont understand, that config is being used now? If so, the home radius is included? Or this this just a preview for the next version..?
Also, with the comment below, when you /mute someone and kick them from the server, when they join they can infact talk again. Would be great to add the temp mute, and temp ban when you have time. As dealing out mute's and bans is very hard when you cant moderate them. I left a player banned for a week after he was banned for 3 days.. :P
@DemonPenguin
Whenever you mute someone, it saves to memory and will only be 'removed' if you restart your server or /reload it (not tested).
I will do some testing tonight and try and reproduce this problem.
Luckily up till this point I have not had to use the /mute command. However in doing so I realized that it wears off after they log out. So I was wondering if you could add a time feature for it. Like /mute <player> [time] so that it still wouldn't be permanent but it makes the mute better than /kick.
@Jozeth
Would be great if you could put in the effort, it would solve oh so many problems :)
@lucky___13
I didn't have time to implement that, but I made the players.yml so I have the config.yml free to customize with home radius, teleport delays, etc...
@Jozeth
I see there is a players.yml file here for the home locations etc, does this mean you have included the home radius idea that I suggested earlier?
Download v1.0.8 here: http://dev.jozeth.me/jcommands/download/v1-0-8
jWarp v1.0.1 is out, download it here: http://dev.jozeth.me/jwarp/download/v1-0-1
Is there a way to remove commands? I'd like to remove the teleport commands (tp, tp2p, tpall, tphere), because I have a teleport plugin for teleportation... I think I need to edit the jar file but how?
@lucky___13
First I need to create a players.yml so the config.yml is free to use after
players.yml = Player's set homes and /back
config.yml = Settings such as home radius, etc...
Hey mate,
Any thoughts on the home radius idea?
Making it so two players cant /sethome within a certain radius to each other?
Download v1.0.7 here: http://dev.jozeth.me/jcommands/download/v1-0-7

Could you check this out, possibly add it to the plugin?
A lot of people would be very grateful.
v1.0.7 will hopefully be released by the end of the week. Fixing some minor bugs

I'm not a big fan of change but I might use your logo or make a new one, but I'm not promising anything
Might look a little bit more professional :)
@Jozeth
Oh, awesome. I look forward to that update. As to fix the spawning in walls/under ground, here's the solution that another plugin dev explained to me with this exact problem,
"So I fixed it by teleporting the player on the highest block, if y=0 or if there is no space. So the players wont die."
Hopefully that helps somewhat.
@lucky___13
The reason why they suffocate in to the wall is because when you teleport onto a block you go to the edge of it (corner), i do not know how to stop this but once i do, if i ever do then i'll implement it...
