Jail
This plugins adds Jail to your minecraft server. Admins can define several jails and then jail/unjail people or jail them on time basis. Plugin also offers wide variety of protections, so players won't escape out of your jail.
Features:
- Jail online and offline players
- Wide variety of protections to prevent escaping or simply to create more interesting escape route on role play server.
- Protection penalties (increase jail sentence if player is not behaving well)
- Guards that will kill player if he tries to escape
- Data is stored in either SQLite or MySQL.
- Supports multiple worlds
- Jailing without commands via item
- Supports escaping for role play servers.
- Allows players to vote a player to be jailed
(you can opt-out from tracking in plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml)
For errors, problems and suggestion make a ticket! Errors, problems and suggestions in comments will be ignored.

Is it possible to enter the time as a double value?
@StiDJa
Currently, no there is not. As for your use case, generally you would create a cell and associate chests with it and then set players using their chests in their cell to false in the configuration file. Then when said players get jailed their inventory would be restored automatically. If you still want this feature, please open a ticket requesting this feature and I'll see if I can sneak it into the rewrite.
Is there a way to have multiple teleport spots for when users are released from jail?
For example; if I jailed two people for the same time.. their jail time comes to an end and they teleport to where I put the released marker (ideally in a room where there chest/inventory has been stored). Isit possible to have a different teleport points per cell instead of just one for the actual jail as if they teleport to the same point then surely one of the users can go into the other users chest and steal their inventory?
To everyone wondering, yes Jail 3.0 will be able to convert your old data and part of your old config. If you're wondering what it won't do, please see here.
Jail Beta 1 is out with MySQL support. :) If you want to test it, let me know.
@Buxieda
Hit me up via private message if you're interested.
@graywolf336
Im willing to test it on my server planet.x64.me where do i get it?
@Nimbleguy
You need to turn off move protection.
@Cr41s3DEV
What lightmaster suggested should work, as it does on my server. What's your configuration look like?
@lightmaster
Does not work. The maximum is 10 minutes.
@Cr41s3DEV
Using "/jail (player) 2880" should jail the player for 2 days, or 2880 mins.
I want to jail people for 2 Days, but the maximum seems to be 10 minutes. I really need it for my UltraHardCore Server.
Thank you for any further help.
How do I make jails escapable? All of my jails just teleport the player back in.
@graywolf336
Want me to be your tester? Leave me a PM if you do :-) I really like your plugin, but i don't know anything about java or any scripting language, I can just test it on my own server. Let me know ^^
Will 3.0 break compatibility with 2.x jails and configs?
Hey Graywolf336 what will be in jail 3.0?
Looking for testers! Jail 3.0 Alpha has reached a point I'm happy with and asking for testers, currently the only storage support is a new one and that is flatfile. I wouldn't go as far as saying it is usable in a production environment, but it is stable with what we've tested so far. We just need help testing out everything about it including all the different ways people can try to break it that we didn't think possible so we couldn't test ourselves. Let me know if you're interested in helping test! :)
@ccm1092
Try to forcefully unjail him.
So I jailed a player earlier today and he is still being left with the jail countdown timer. anyway I can get it off for him? I have had him relog but it is still there.
why does it say you dont have permission to use this when i own the server??
I have an issue where the guards (being wolves) are passive and not at all aggressive. In fact, what's happening is they're all multiplying by half dozens every time someone tries to escape... it's like the prisoner escapes and then he just has a trail of dozens of wolves coming out his butt. It's very awkward.
And I know my banner shows I'm on 1.6.2, it's actually... 1.7.4.
