ItemEnchanting
I consider this project mature, and as long as the enchantment API does not change, it shouldn't break. However, I am no longer maintaining my Bukkit plugins, so if someone wants to take it up, shoot me an email at lucariatias<at>gmail<dot>com
ItemEnchanting allows for the use of a configurable item for enchanting rather than experience.
ItemEnchanting is intended for use on RPG servers where using experience for item bonuses is not ideal, such as where it is used for skills, feats, etc.
This plugin makes it so you can use an item instead.
This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.
@Godpuppet2
Oh, thanks for picking that up. I hadn't thought to check if the event was cancelled. Just uploading 1.2 now. Should fix it, if it doesn't let me know and I'll give it another look.
Really good plugin!
Having a problem with it mind.
Heroes plugin disallows some enchantments. When a player clicks a disallowed enchantment, it fails but it still uses the item ingredients. If you could stop it doing this? You would be a legend!
@V10lator
The reason for that was I didn't know the page or the tag existed, and although I had seen others do it I didn't know how to do it myself. Thanks much :)
[EDIT] Just finished translating all the safe HTML I had to WikiCreole, and embedded the video.
Why do you link to the video instead of inlining it?
The code is: < <youtube AxYVcpqJMrw>> (without the first space, see http://dev.bukkit.org/wiki/knowledge-base/markup-types/#w-youtube-video for more details). :)
@KoolKrafter
What do you suggest? Just checking if it's over one item that's needed and if so removing the "s", otherwise adding it? I use Bukkit's Material enum for item names atm, but if you tell me exactly what you want I can probably manage it given a little time. All credit for the idea goes to ImJay in the plugin requests forum ;D
Cool idea. Definitely something that's missing from the game. You might want to make some more user friendly item names though, without the (s).
@Lucariatias
Thanks a ton! ^_^
i like the flatrate idea, but how does ist work? Shall i fill in the item id? What if e.G. 5 emeralds should be needed not one?
PS: i got it
ItemID: 388 ItemMultiplier: -1 FlatRate: 5
Thanks, i like this plugin
@UltrafaceGuy
Done. Update to 1.1.1 (or higher) and set ItemMultiplier to less than 0 for it to take effect.
Can it be set so a flat rate of items are needed, say, one emerald for ANY level enchant?
