Ok so I am back and I will be continuing this plugin. I am going to take a look at how much code needs to be updated then report back and tell you when the next version will be released

Posted Dec 27, 2012Eventhough item frames are now a standard Minecraft feature. ItemDisplay still has merit. I think a bobbing / rotating item looks a lot more appealing in certain situations like shops. Which incidentaly is where we use them for on our Prison server :)
It would take us only 10 minutes to change to the Minecraft item frames, but we'd rather not because ItemDisplay just looks so much better.
Anyway, thank you for the work you have done on this plugin. You are awesome :D

Posted Nov 14, 2012I'm also hoping for a 1.4.2 version. I think this looks better then an item frame. I've got a library where my players can read what's new on the server and what plugins they can use. And i wanted to display all the new stuff of 1.4.2 line the dyed armor an so on item displays, but the problem is that of course the new items don't show :(.

Posted Nov 9, 2012Item Display is an awesome plugin, and thank you for keeping it alive! I know that many will use 1.4.2 Item Frames as a replacement for item display in shops, however they don't offer the trickery that can be accomplished with say a loose diamond on the ground that cannot be picked up and triggers a booby trap... or that massive feast you want to have laid out on the kings dining table.

Posted Nov 7, 2012I can't wait for your updated version of this plugin. Every other showcase plugin seems to be either too complicated, and crashes my server, or makes it so items can be picked up. I can't wait.
