iProtect
iProtect
iProtect is an easy to use Anti-Griefing plugin. It allows the player to place a block and have it automatically be un-griefable. Ops( by default ) can override your protected blocks and break them anyways. If you dont like that you can always edit it in the plugin.yml. iProtect also disables TNT explosions. That is however, completely toggle-able. I hope you enjoy the plugin.
Features:
- Ability to protect only the blocks you place down
- Easily configurable config.yml
- Permissions for who can break protected blocks and more
Changelog:
- Released first beta
- Reverts back to the simplest version of the previous iProtect but works much better
Commands:
- /protect - Toggle the protection process
- /protect config [variable] [value] - Set a config variable in-game
- /protect banned [add/remove] [blockid] - Add or remove a banned block
- /protect group [add/remove] [playername] - Add or remove members of your group
- /protect group list - List members of your group
Other Information:
- using the reload command will break the plugin
- The permissions are located in the plugin.yml inside the .jar file
- Groups are a new feature where if two players both have each other added into thier groups, they can break each others blocks
Video:
Thats everything, I hope you enjoy the plugin!
I would personally like to see economy implemented where each pluck you place costs you a certain amount of money
Need a list of Perms...
somehow people cant put blocks on there own protected blocks. any fix for this or suggestions how to fix this. Well i figured out how to fix this temporary. When i deop myself people can put blocks again, This is not the way it should And when people are offline there house is not protected anymore... When they come back its protected again.
Would you mind replying to my PM since I really need what I requested in there like asap.
@EnderBrine777
I've been sick for the past 2 weeks and haven't been able to do much. I'll work on it once I'm better.
Make an update PLS
Can you make it compatible with WorldEdit so you can claim big area?
</html>
I feel obliged to update this plugin and so I shall, gimme a few weeks or so. New HDD = Gonna have to re-code.
@HarryWills
How? should i do like... i mark these 2 corners then do /protect or??? Please answer this, because we have built a spawn and don't want to re-build it xD
Needs a list of permission nodes.
what is the op override permission?
please try make this plugin compatile with modpacks like FTB Unleashed. The player without permission can access the blocks.
@EmboZam
Use world guard
how do you protect your old blocks without breaking them and replacing them? I have too many blocks to break and replace... :( Please help soon
Nice idea, but would be nice if blocks like Dirt, Sand etc. weren't protected, as it would make cleaning up griefs a lot easier without OPs on.
Does this work for 1.5.2
This has been a great addition to my server. Are there any plans to add support for sqlite or mysql?
I was wrong, never mind.
Hey Great plugin but is there any chance maybe in a update that you could make it in the config file that, /protect is enable by default ? o yea another thing i'm not sure if you tested for it but this works nice with MCPC+ and with modes i've ran on it so far =D nice work
Can you look into why the plugin breaks when you use /reload? I use /reload a lot.
EDIT: maybe also an option to limit the amount of "protected blocks" placed? Thanks
