Infected
Features:
This plugin allows you to customize the mobs on your server and in your worlds like YOU want! You can add tons of things to their attacks and soon you'll can do even more. At the moment you have a decent choise of effects, which you can give to the mobs you want. You can also add multiple effects to a single mob if you want and you can also choose how often the effect should occure, be enabled and in which world. It is also possible to set a message when you got 'infected' and 'cured'. This plugin is lightweight, highly-configurable and upĀ²date.
Effect | Usage |
---|---|
nausea | Visual effect (a bit like the portal ones) |
hunger | The player is hungry (decrease food-bar) |
slow | The player is slower (wow!) |
blind | The player can only see a few blocks far |
poison | The player becomes poisoned |
burn | The player burns! |
lifesteal | Giving the enemy health back |
critical hit | Dealing an amount of damage YOU want. |
damage | Deal additional damage |
reflect | Reflecting the damage to the player |

Installation
If you want to use a newer version than yours, please check the config-page for changes first! Place the Infected.jar in plugins folder. Now customize and configure the plugin! You can find a instruction how to edit the config.yml here! Please dont forget that :P

Can I have some help, when ever I try to change my config.yml, it changes and saves correctly but when I reload my server or restart my server the config.yml changes back to the default text

Hello Guys How come after a couple of rounds infected becomes disabled? Does anyone know how to fix this?

I think i found a way to temporary fix error ;) Just remove from config SilverFish effects :) And the error should be gone. Until new release of this plugin, when developer will add compatibility :)

I dont think so. My server runs 1.4.6 R0.4 and that is fine :)
There had a problem with my server.
Since I update my server to 1.4.6 . Sometimes player can't hit the mob, but mob can hit them.
Digging and placing block is normal.
Could it cause by this plugin?Ā (Cause this plugin stayed in CB 1.2.5 R4)

I'm just assuming that this plugin is still fully compatible with 1.4.6, since it has not been updated.
Could you add every potion effect, or at least all of the negative ones (or maybe add more unique non-potion effects)?
Also, could you add it so that the mobs can have a chance at applying an effect to themselves each time they hit you? Again, not all of these have to be potion effects, and I know lifesteal technically falls under this category. For example, when a zombie hits you, it has a chance of running even faster for a short amount of time.
Also, configuration can get messy if you run many worlds (let's say a dozen). Could you change it so that you can have a "master configuration" that applies your settings to all worlds regardless, then allow us to have a "mini-configuration" for each world that can override the master configuration? I don't really need the multiworld support, so it can get frustrating to make sure that all worlds have the same settings.
Thanks for the plugin! I really like it, plus it makes my server harder. Also, if it sounds like I'm asking for way too much, I am not expecting you to add any of these. These are merely suggestions.
