IDPlugin
IDPlugin is a plugin that can be useful when using WorldEdit. You can get any block ID, in two quick ways:
- The /id command: this command give the name and the ID of the pointed block. - The /idmode command: this command give the player a special diamond sword named IDMode. Simply left-click with it on any block, and you will get the name and the ID of this block! (aliases: /i, /idm)
Permissions: id.use (default: op): Give the ability to use the id command. idmode.use (default: op): Give the ability to use the idmode command and to use the IDMode sword (can be a renamed handmade diamond sword).

Posted Feb 22, 2016But WorldEdit allows for the String variation of the Block ID. You don't require to use the numerical ID. Besides, ever since 1.7, Mojang has been at an attempt to remove numerical Block ID's from public use, so there aren't too many uses for the numerical ID anymore. Unless of course there is a plugin (for whatever reason) that still requires you to use a numerical ID because they haven't updated past 1.6.4... It would then be useful, I suppose
