iDisguise
Unfortunately, I must discontinue this plugin because I am too busy with other stuff (studies etc.).
This plugin enables you to disguise as every mob or as another player.
It is possible to disguise as some non-living mobs as well (e.g. falling blocks).

Basic Usage
To disguise as a mob, just type /d and then append the mob type (e.g. zombie).
To disguise as a player, type /d player and then append a player name (e.g. Dinnerbone).
Please note that you can only see other players' disguise not your own.

Help
Regretfully, I am forced to disable Bukkit's ticket tracker for this plugin, since I got tons of spam posts in the last days. As of now, support is only given via private messages and discussion posts on SpigotMC.org.
Please send me a private message and provide the following information:
- Minecraft version, server software and server version, plugin version
- What did you do?
- What did you expect to happen?
- What actually happened?
- Errors or warnings (console logs)
Please do not post your console logs below!

Special Features
This plugin includes an update checker, which automatically checks whether an update is available every time you restart/reload your server. This feature is enabled by default and can be disabled by changing updates.check (check-for-updates for 5.2 and lower) to false in the config.yml (config.txt for 5.2 and lower). (update/version informations come from curse.com which provides a secure API for this)
This plugin also includes an auto-update function, which automatically downloads every update available. This feature is disabled by default and can be enabled by changing updates.download to true in the config.yml. Of course, this feature only works if updates.check is enabled as well. (updates are downloaded directly from bukkit.org so you are safe from malicious content)
This plugin integrates bStats Metrics to collect and evaluate some statistics. Visit the Plugin Metrics page to find more information about what stats are collected from your server, where they are sent to and how you can disable this if you don't want it.
This Plugin is really great! I don't think he copied it, i think he had MobDisguise and it doesn't work at 1.4.2. So he wrote his own Plugin and I think its really great!
P.S: Really Nice Logo
There is no "better" disguise plugins. It's all about which one caters to your server's needs.
I sometimes refer servers to iDisguise because it is much less resource intensive than DisguiseCraft. It uses the good old two-packet disguise method that MobDisguise did and therefore provides the same performance. The part I found that makes this plugin much better than MobDisguise is that it generated entity metadata (DataWatchers) through the actually Entity instance itself. This means that iDisguise is capable of working over many different MineCraft versions.
Before any of you start condescending on people for using any plugin, get to know your facts. Maybe learn Java. Every developer would be appreciative.
In light of all the people giving negative comments. Great work on the plugin. Keep it up.
when people make hundreds of hat plugins they have no problem but when this guy made a plugin that is similar to another plugin than it's a ripoff?
@Robingrether Thanks for the update.
To all those bitching about which disguise plugin is better... be grateful that developers are active and sharing there code with the community.
Disguisecraft and IDisguise use different methods of achieving the disguise illusion, and one might be less resource intensive on your server. Its not fair to compare features as this plugin is so new and in its first versions.
Run a bukkit report to see which plugin suits your server /timings merged
To all people saying Disguisecraft is better:
This plugin suits small servers more, due to it being small and lightweight. If you've got a massive server with 16GB of RAM, great. Just remember all the little ones.
@TheFlagCourier
Hey, if it has no issue with Orebfuscator and NoCheat+ like disguisecraft does (unless that was fixed recently) then I would rather use this that won't make the server unplayable because of chunking issues.
@huntershenep
No, they aren't. They are players like before but the others don't see them as player.
@lenis0012
I think the only real reasons someone would even consider using this is as follows: A) They are a nub to using Bukkit server mods and therefore have not heard of DisguiseCraft (understandable) B) They want similar functionality with less overhead (smaller sizes) C) They wish to support a developer, are close friends, or got word of it via word-of-mouth. D) Tried it and preferred it in-game compared to DisguiseCraft E) They are COMPLETE Noobs to Minecraft in general and/or are experimenting.
I dont see why i shall use this instead of DisguiseCraft, this has less features.
and no API
When people are in disguise, are they god mode?
Yeah wondering that too
Not flaming. Legit question.
Why would I use this instead of disguisecraft? How is it different?
Hey the enderdragon faces backwards. When i look at people they see my dragon butt.
@LihPeu
Maybe, but I don't know! It should work with unmodified clients, maybe it also works if you have mods, I don't know. I don't have mods and it works good. And the problem when disguising as player is fixed but the newer version(1.1) of my plugin needs approval. I think it'll be here tomorrow.
@Robingrether
I have client mods and it has not crashed for me, i think its happened since we updated to 1.4.4 and I added back the void damage. Do you think people disguised at a -y cord could cause it? Thanks
@LihPeu
It works with all unmodified clients, but I don't know if it works with mods.
The problem when disguising as players will be fixed soon. At a dev-version it works but you can't undisguise. So I think it will take some more time to fix. I'm sorry.
@Lolseeker
I too have noticed the client crash when disguising as players, we don't use it so that's not been a problem.
Only random issue we get is mobs cause client crashes for only some players, it appears to only happen to 10-20% of games and happens in a area where disguised players can fall into the void. Not sure of the trigger, but it gives you end of stream and when trying to relog you will continue to get end of stream.
I want to try out some things next time it happens, like /ebutcher to force a new disguise entity or kick all to see if the one guy disguise causing the crash will be solved if they relog.
Works well for our PVP game and i especially like the iron golem arm swing animation all mobs use :D Using a .bin file to store players disguise has its advantages of retaining the disguise after server restart. unfortunately this is a problem for the reset in our mini game. I have to manually delete this file to reset the game, any suggestions to solve this?
Awesome plugin, but is it possible to get more permissions? I don't want my players to disguise into withers
I also noticed that disguising into other players kicks everyone
